I am a big fan! The selections of wine, cheese, chocolates and other treats here are unsurpassed in Lenawee County. The location in the vintage corner storefront they occupy in downtown Tecumseh is a perfect spot for them. They've done a great job with their interior arrangement. While it's cozy and can get crowded on Saturdays, it's also a very pleasant experience to look around at all of the amazing options they offer. Their displays are nicely set. Every staff member with whom I've dealt has been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We particularly like the Ruby Rosé grapefruit wine they have available on occasion. It's a great place for gift shopping. An absolutely astonishing assortment of cheeses, wines, and beers from all over the globe. Also, their in-house made sausage and chocolates are to die for, I highly recommend. The Boulevard Market also holds $5 monthly wine tastings during which they serve wine, beer, and cheese from different parts of the world, coupled with vivid explanations of where everything comes from and how its made, told by the owners themselves. The staff members behind the counter are always so friendly, knowledgeable, eager to help with anything you need, and willing to let you try as many cheeses as you like before you buy. Can we give 6 stars? The owners and staff are the BEST- so helpful, personable, and they really care about what they are doing and who they are doing it for. We had to arrange a fancy dinner platter the night after we hauled our goodies home- but we were regretting not buying some duck prosciutto! And 2 bottles of wine is nowhere near enough as a treat from this place (you were SPOT ON about the primitivo/cab, of course) so we have to come back and get more.
