Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Temecula

Scrapbook Series, Part 1 Well, the first stop in the “Scrapbook Series” is “in the books!” 😉 We were extremely grateful that Cathie was able to join our Review Team for this visit to Cold Stone Creamery. This being her first review and all, we were curious about what she’d want to contribute. When asked for her “Take” she offered this input, “Mine was good.”

So…while I’m sure that insight pretty much addresses any questions that you might have, we’ll try and add a few more details. First of all, the “Cake Batter Ice Cream” flavor looked WAY better when pictured on the wall, but it was actually packed with all of the flavors @coldstone promised and was quite good.

We were also pleased with the service we received. We told our ice cream artist (fact) that we were celebrating Cathie’s birthday (not true) in the hopes that she would sing to us (our plan failed). However, when we asked questions about the magical stone located behind the counter they were met with patience and grace.

“Is that stone…cold?” “Yes.” “How cold?” “Like probably less than 32 degrees.” “Can you take a picture of it from behind the counter for us?” “Why?” “We’re writing a post about this place.” “Sure!”

Went in with my daughter today. Daughter asked for a small ice cream in a reg cone, was told she could only get a regular cone if it was child size so she said ok put it in a bowl. The worker (alice) proceeded to put it in a waffle cone ( which you have to pay extra for!) Daughter told her she wanted it in a bowl not a waffle cone! After a nasty look from Alice, she put it.into a bowl. I asked for a small mocha (which I get from other cold stones) no drizzle on top like its supposed to be but ok, no prob....took a drink and it was horrible!! Tasted like frozen milk! The drink was barely tan colored so I knew she messed up. When I told her it tasted like frozen milk, all she could say was sorry. I asked.if she put any coffee on it she said "I put it in there,.sorry" and just started at me!! When I asked her to remake it, she gave me a nasty face and started waking away and grabbed the blenders and said "I have to wash these first" In a very nasty voice ! I said never mind and left the drink on the counter . They need to teach her about customer service! Will NEVER go back to...

I love French vanilla with Heath bar crunch mixed in in a cup, but some days I love fruit like strawberries mixed in for something fresh.
