I don't usually waste my time reviewing national chains. Usually they are all pretty similar; but this location was terrible. I'm new to Temecula and this was my first (and last) time to order Pizza Hut here.
I was already annoyed when I got to the store (see below), but it tripled once I got there. I had ordered and paid online. But there was a group of 6 kids and their dad trying to order right at the counter. They had lots of questions and seemed incapable of grasping the idea or designing and ordering a pizza on their own. I had already ordered and paid online but was stuck behind this logjam of idiots just to pick up my pizza. There were two registers but only one person working the registers. Why have two registers if you're not using them on SATURDAY NIGHT?!? And there were several staff members wandering around past the counter, but no one offered to jump on a register and take care of the growing line. And the cashier helping this group looked at me several times but didn't offer to give me my pizza's (remember, already paid for) or ask any of his coworkers.
As I mentioned, the frustration began when I started trying to order online and this location does NOT accept the specials on the Pizza Hut website. A plain cheese pizza here costs nearly double what I can get it for at Domino's and several other local pizzerias.
When I got to the location there was actually a sign that said because of the high costs of doing business the poor mom-and-pop operation couldn't accept their prices. For some reason it''s NOT a problem for the Domino's right down the street and I can always get the website prices there. With the higher prices, you'd think they could get a second register open when some large group was trying to order right at the register. Even the Little Caesar's down the street has two people working the counter! Oh, and they also honor their famous national...
Read moreUnfortunately one star is the lowest you can give on this site, if I could give it a -5 I would. I went into the store after work to get two medium pizzas to my surprise he rang up $36. so while I was waiting a lady came in and picked up three medium pizzas for $32, so I asked why her three were 32 and my two 36, I got well you see she ordered online. well here's my hint to Pizza Hut not only will I never walk in and buy a pizza from them I will never order online either you see I will never go back to Pizza Hut. In today's market customer service is everything you get one chance and when you blow it that bad people like me will spread the word and tell them what a joke they are and we will...
Read moreI appreciate that this location is mindful to prepare my pizzas with the right amount of ingredients and not be skimpy as if I am begging for ingredients. I did notice that the crust on my most recent order was slightly different from that of which we ordered, which were pan crusts. Aside from that the pizza was delicious. Other locations often skimp on the ingredients even when you indicate extra toppings. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo of this order but it was...
