Killarney's Restaurant & Irish Pub — Restaurant in Temecula

My fiancée and I have been coming to Killarneys for years. We absolutely love this place. We used to come here every Wednesday and Thursday night after work with coworkers and just sit there and eat and have an amazing time. Emily (I believe is her name) used to always serve us. Even remembered our drinks and food. Always was on top of everything. Absolutely love the service she would give us. Always asked if we were going to do another round even before our drinks were empty. She would always make sure everything was good and well taken care of. Absolutely amazing.

However, just recently we went the past 2 times and honestly our new server Alexus was not great. The first time, she wouldn’t even bother coming to our table. Just came honestly 3 times that night. And when we would order she would walk away as one person ordered and then come straight back to the table and say “anything else” it was like that all night. And then came to our table and stated “how was my service?” Like “uhhh not that great honestly.” Fast forward to yesterday. We had the same server Alexus. So we decided to at least give her a chance again. Everything started ok in the beginning. However towards the middle and the end it went down hill again. She did the same thing of never approaching our table at all. Then we see that she did a comment to one of her coworkers and they both looked at our table. Again only came to our table at least 2/3 of the whole night with one time us having to get her attention. She would see our cups being empty and just walk right past us. At the end she just put our checks on the table and didn’t even bother who’s check was who’s. We started just talking within our table and start laughing and she walks by our table makes a snarky comment and says “haha I don’t know what’s funny” like what? Very unnecessary.

We've been here a few times, most recently with a group of friends for a weeknight dinner. First off, bravo for being able to make a reservation for 14 people on fairly short notice, despite the fact that they were fairly busy. We were seated in the side room (with the shuffleboard table) which is so much better than the main bar area from a noise perspective! We were at a long table and it was perfect for being able to talk and socialize. If it matters to you, note that the main bar area is very loud!

The menu includes lots of traditional Irish pub food - shepherd's pie, fish & chips, corned beef & cabbage - all of which members of our party ordered and enjoyed immensely. The burgers look amazing and we'll definitely be back for $8 "BYOB"- Build Your Own Burger night on Mondays! I had the chicken caesar wrap which was really delicious. The tortilla was lightly grilled and packed with large chunks of grilled chicken, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes and housemade Caesar dressing, and the french fries were well-seasoned and crisp - yum!

Our server Lexi was friendly and accommodating. The decor and vibe is exactly what you'd expect in an authentic Irish pub. We've only been here for dinner, so I'm looking forward to checking out the "best damn happy hour in Temecula" - every...

Friendly service, large full bar in the traditional Irish pub style, full menu including Irish dishes, plenty of seating. Corned beef & cabbage with boiled potatos & carrots are fantastic and not too expensive. * Update 10/27/19: The cabbage has several times now come out tasting of vinegar. Tonight it came out tasting like dish soap, which also bled over into the corned beef. I mentioned it to the waitress and hostess. The both said how gross that is, but no apology, no adjustment on the check. I'm still tasting it an hour later. I'm done with them. 05-10-2024 Update: They have a wonderful fish and chips dinner, which we like to order carryout on Fridays. However, it is SO LOUD that the wait staff can't hear what you're saying. I asked for 3- piece dinners tonight and got 2-piece dinners instead. Another time we ordered soda bread - we thought - and got none. The wait staff and I are yelling at each other over the phone because of the background noise. Management needs to get an old-school wooden phone booth that the servers can step into to take calls for food orders. It might not be silence, but it still...
