They told me it would be a 45-minute wait till I got a seat. I accepted to wait. Took about 30 minutes, so it's not bad. Was sat outside its fresh day, so that's good.
However, it took them about 10 minutes to finally come and take our order. The drinks are priced outrageous. 8 dollars for fresh squeezed orange juice? That's crazy.
Anyways. Ordered Creme Brulee French Toast and also Regular French toast. 18 minutes for them to come back and tell me they don't have any more creme brulee French toast than another 10 minutes until my food came. So a total of 1 hour. The review of the food the French toast was, yes, indeed basic, but they didn't use any cinnamon to enhance the flavor. The French toast was so boring and did not taste like anything. The eggs were scrambled, but they used 2 medium eggs, which makes it look like barley any eggs, not to mentionedl it's served on a big plate. The Bacon was absolutely terrible it tasted like it had been sitting in dirty grease from cooked bacon. And was floppy, not even crispy.
So all in all, I don't know how they have so many 5 stars. The food is not that great. I thought maybe the wait time makes up for it, and it doesn't. Not to include the staff forgets about you, and they don't even check if they have an item you ordered until almost 20 minutes of waiting. I would not recommend it. I spent 43.50 for French toast 2 eggs and 2 bacon. That's absolutely Ludacris pricing, and it was not even good.
Even Dennys could have done better.
Save your self time. Literally, by just going to Richies Diner which the food is actually good. And it's not an hour wait time to finally eat. Mind you, I ate at richies with a packed house they told me 15 minutes to wait, and I was seated in 5.
Oh, the price of 43.50 was for 2 people.
If you want to feel like you got robbed in what you pay and be let down by the quality of the most basic food item. Then sure, come here. But I highly recommend anywhere else, even Dennys.
Haven't been let down for breakfast in a while, and I felt like I got robbed for quality and quantity at...
Read moreWe have already been here twice. Our first time was 6 days after opening and a now a month later and they are hitting it out of the ballpark. The ambiance is fun thanks to the service and creative menu. There is ample parking. A simple host stand out front. And easy to read real menus.
But what warrants full stars and radiant review? The food quality that is priced right and the stellar staff. So let's start first with the food. The menu is your basic brunch stuff, but they have added logical, mostly healthy ingredients that also lend to variety options for the vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, pescatarian, and carnivore all without having to have a Cheesecake Factory sized menu. Then there are the drinks! Creative and tasty. But you haven't seen creative till you see their coffee flight.
All right all right all right. Rose and Adrianna are among the sweetest, most efficient, and genuine servers I've ever met. And I believe I can say that with sincerity because our second time we sat at the bar where we happened to hear the convos that are had among coworkers. Sharing work, respecting breaks, being good people to each other even in times of big stress. The first time we were there they were packed and yet our food and service was reasonably efficient. The second time there it was a bit less full and our food came out super fast and beautifully plated. And yeah! Coke products refilled frequently.
I also give props to the management. They did well that they had their opening employees go through a full training of bites from the entire menu so they could give honest perspective. And we got honest perspective both times. I also have read some of their responses to less than thrilled customers and they have been generous. I give props for this.
If you read my reviews, you'll see I give credit where credit is due and this place warrants rave reviews in my experience of them. Good job...
