Lisa Donut & Boba — Restaurant in Temecula

This place is EVERYTHING. I am from this area but live on the east coast and just can't find donuts like this. I especially was on the hunt for a simple blueberry glazed donut and they have it!! It was perfection... but we ordered a good variety and every flavor was delicious. All the donuts were exactly what they should be (cake donuts moist and just the right density, yeast donuts thick and fluffy, bear claw with a good amount of filling and flaky in the outside). We also got breakfast sandwiches and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality (great croissant and crispy bacon) plus the Vietnamese coffee with boba - yum. For these reasons there was a line out the door but the staff were working hard and moved everyone through efficiently, though still very friendly. I'm here for a week and seriously want to go...

It’s a little mom and pop shop and you can tell if you come here. The shop itself is very small so you kinda feel rushed to pick out what you want especially if there’s already a line behind you. But, I can tell you right now that my favorite thing to get there is the cronut (a crossover between a croissant and donut) and my husband loves their maple bacon donut.

Of course, if you plan to get the dozen just know you’re gonna spend easily over $20 if you’re gonna add their specialty donuts. Overall, I enjoy it here since I know I’m supporting a small businesses that are maintaining quality.

Bonus tip: I’ve been here 4 times already and make sure you get these donuts early since they sell out of the good ones by...

CON: Not the place to go for cinnamon rolls. Mine was very dry. Store bought cinnamon rolls are better quality. Also they do not warm the cinnamon roll - everything is served cold.

PROS: The service was fast and prices are low for California so that is worth 3 stars on it's own ...drip coffee was also pretty good and priced well

If this place would simply focus on heating up and/or keeping the rolls and donuts warm (and moist) they would probably double their business. They need to do that and find another location with seating...
