I'm honestly shocked at what happened. We ordered while staying at South Coast Winery Resort. I guess they use Doordash to deliver. The driver got to the resort, we went outside to wait for him and 30 minutes later we get a text from the driver (GPS shows that he is here) that he didn't know where our room was so left the order on some table somewhere on the property and left. Wth? He didn't text us first to ask where we were, which we could obviously tell him or meet him. He just left. I called the restaurant and the first woman who answered the phone didn't want to deal with the issue (I wasn't yelling or rude) and she just hung up on me. I called back and a guy answered. 1st he said he is going to send the driver back but, the driver is already crazy. What's he going to do if they send him back when he doesn't work for them? Spit on the now cold pizza that's been sitting in the open for an hour? I asked for a replacement order and the guy tried to tell me they would only do that if we go pick it up ourselves. Seriously? He then put me on hold, came back and asked if we paid for the pizza.... yeah, that's how online ordering on their website works. We paid when the order was placed. He then apologized and said they would replace the order. We're sitting here now almost 2 hours after initially placing the order hoping it gets here.
UPDATE They didn't remake the order. They waited 30 minutes to call back and say that they will only remake it if we go pick it up ourselves. While waiting outside for the delivery driver earlier we saw other people here getting deliveries. Uber had no trouble finding us. We aren't in some weird area that's hard to find. We're ordering from someone else now and will never give this restaurant our money. They did give us a refund. They did not have to wait 30 minutes to call us and tell us that while we thought we were waiting...
Read moreThis was my first & will be my last experience here. It started off with me placing my order online at 4:30pm to be picked up at 6pm. I arrive at 6pm to pick up my order and I could tell by the guys reaction that he either never saw my online order and/or hadn’t even started it. Told me it would be about 8 minutes and I said that was fine. 15 minutes later he comes out with my order and tells me that he went ahead and made me a Large pizza instead of a Medium (I’m assuming because he never started my order and I had to wait) and I said okay thank you, and confirmed that my dipping sauces were in there, and he replies yes. I get home to see that my order was made with less than zero effort. I ordered the new Taco pizza (without meat & olives) that also comes with diced tomatoes, green onion, lettuce, and a Jalapeño Tomatillo Sauce….which had none, the toppings were a joke. It was a completely sauce-less pizza with only a few tiny little pieces of diced tomatoes and onion which were mostly on one side, and the slices were cut so incredibly skinny. Read moreI hate tearing down companies but I will no longer order from here. The last three times my order has been messed up! I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because this use to be my family favorite place and I keep hoping they will get it right but this was the final straw because I actually expected my order to not be correct when I received it today! I’m absolutely disgusted the chicken on my pizza smelt really and it was awful! They definitely used bad chicken! I am very aware that pizza place receive fully cooked Chicken, but this has definitely been sitting out and turned bad!! I had 4 missing dipping sauces that I paid extra for. The last time I ordered, they tried to send the DoorDash driver off with only one pizza when I ordered two! I’m glad he called me and when I called Mountain Mike employee they claimed they tried to call me, but they did not. The time before they did send my order missing a pizza and had no interest on making it right! I had to call several times for a refund. This place has completely gone downhill.
