Winchester Creek Park — Attraction in Temecula

Great local community park.

The turn into the park is not well placed off the road and comes up quick so drive slow.

Parking lot holds maybe 15 to 20 cars and there is no street parking. A couple handicap spaces.

Male and female restrooms equipped with multiple stalls, 2 sinks, soap and hand dryers. Were well maintained. There is water fountain available as well.

Large playground for multiple ages and abilities. The flooring is sand which is a bummer, but helps with falls. Playground was fairly level with the parking lot giving it easy access to all.

The park has a large sand volleyball court with a net available. Not sure if lit at night.

The remainder of the park is on a sloped hillside with a plateaued top. The park is primarily grassed and a few trees for shade.

There is one full and one half basketball court at the top of the park. Courts are not lit. All nets are intact.

The park is a decently sized park. There's two playgrounds, ages 2-5 and 5-12, swings, full sized basketball court, and lots of shade along with lots of grassy areas. The downsides: there were some shady types smoking marijuana and doing whatever else in their car in the parking lot, something people wouldn't think of doing in other areas, like harveston lake Park. The other downside was that there was a beehive on the floor near the 2-5 year olds playground! There were cones surrounding the beehive but considering there were thousands there I don't see how any worker thought it to be safe to...

It's a great park with a good basketball ball court has a outlet witch is really good. It's fun for the kids to play, It's right buy my house I went here for a hole decade living here watch my nephews there. but there's a big problem with the people at night time that leave things kids shouldn't have there hands on, there's people doing drugs and leaving pipes, and other items and used condoms. Witch people should keep in mind kids play here and thats very inappropriate the law enforcement should take action that's the only problem other wise I would give...
