This place has been invading my instagram algorithm for weeks so I was really excited to finally be in the area and give it a shot!

The atmosphere was great and little strip mall burger joint was full to the brim. I had to wait a few minutes after ordering to get a table. The manager (and possibly owner) was super friendly and looked happy to help and to be at work. I love this and it's so overlooked in the service and hospitality industry when you lose the small and local touch.

The food unfortunately was not as great as their social media accounts made it look. The food tasted good enough, but could have been much better with a little more attention to detail and technique. I got the nashville hot dipped chicken french fries and subbed in waffle fries. First, I was a bit disappointed that the cheese was used as sparingly as it was. Their image online is that of indulgent crazy messy stacked burgers and loaded fries and thats just not quite what was delivered. What really brought the dish down however is that once the ingredients were cooked individually, they were assembled and then placed under a salamander (a small very hot broiler oven used to heat things up quickly, melt cheese, etc.). This dried out the chopped chicken and the fries when if both were fresh the cheese would have melted itself. Lastly, there should def be more to this basket. Nashville hot or buffalo chicken pairs great with coleslaw or pickles to add another layer if flavor and texture and provide a cooling touch. Personally I would also add a chicken sauce drizzle to the top to tie things together both from a taste and visual standpoint.

The Spicy Western burger was definitely well-seasoned, well-topped, and well-wrapped. The cold toppings were placed under the patty which is the proper technique to keep them cold and unwilted. A couple of things that could have been better? The tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles were all pretty wet, and if you combine that with a thinner brioche bun and that will get you a bottom bun that disintegrates halfway through the meal. Also note that the onion ring is beer battered so the onion will most likely slide out when you take a bite. That's not a criticism as much as it is just a part of the deal and a pro tip to remember for the reader.

The gentleman here was proud of his sauces and I enjoyed them as well. I asked him about the different options and he proceeded to bring me one of everything which was so cool. Definitely have some fun with the sauces and a basket of fries.

Overall I would definitely eat here again as I believe they care and enjoy what they do and that will continue to lead their business in the right direction and the food was good outside of finer finishing details. Again I wish I could give a 3.5 or 3.75. In my heart if hearts I wanted to try the PJ and PB burger because it was definitely unique and sounded delicious but I like to get a standard on my first visit to see how...

Nestled snugly on a quaint corner, 5th Street Burger & Fries is a hidden gem that beckons burger aficionados with its tantalizing array of unique combinations and sliders. Despite its modest size, this burger joint packs a flavorful punch that leaves a lasting impression on your taste buds.

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of sizzling beef and crispy fries fills the air, instantly whetting your appetite and setting the stage for a culinary adventure. The menu boasts an impressive selection of burgers and sliders, each crafted with care and creativity, offering a delightful twist on traditional favorites.

What sets 5th Street Burger & Fries apart is its commitment to innovation. From the adventurous "PB & PJ" to the classic "5th Street Burger," every burger and slider promises a symphony of flavors that dance harmoniously on your palate. The toppings are fresh and thoughtfully chosen, adding layers of texture and taste that elevate each bite to new heights of gastronomic delight.

Despite its small size, the ambiance at 5th Street Burger & Fries is cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who are always eager to recommend their personal favorites or assist with customizing your order to perfection.

Now, let's address the elephant in the room—the limited space. Yes, 5th Street Burger & Fries may not offer sprawling seating arrangements or expansive dining areas, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in flavor and character. The wait times may be a tad longer, and finding a table during peak hours can be a bit of a challenge, but trust me when I say that the burgers are absolutely worth the hassle.

In conclusion, if you're in search of a burger experience that transcends the ordinary, look no further than 5th Street Burger & Fries. With its inventive combinations, friendly atmosphere, and mouthwatering offerings, it's a culinary gem that promises to satisfy even the most discerning of palates. So, roll up your sleeves, grab a seat (if you can find one!), and prepare to embark on a delicious journey that you won't...

GO NOW!!! BEST BURGER I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! Visited Phoenix for the first time with the wife. Found this place via TikTok, read a few google reviews and checked it out myself.

1st visit was on a busy Friday afternoon and it went like this.

Packed inside but when it was my turn to order the cashier was great and patient. I went with the classic 5th St Burger with bacon and waffle fries. I got my order fast and fresh and ate right outside. THE SEASONING ON THE BEEF WAS AMAZING! The bun was golden brown. The waffle fries were fresh, crispy & seasoned. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!

I told my wife about it and brought her back a few days later and it went like this.

It was a Monday afternoon and it was empty. Same cashier as before and she rocked it again. She helped my wife through her complicated order lol

We got the following:

Wife-PB & J slider, Hawaiian slider, bacon cheese slider, Nashville hot chicken tender slider. All with cheese fries.

Myself- DBL 5th St Burger with bacon and cheese sticks

You know how people say things are never as good as the first time you have it? NOT TRUE! It was just as good, if not BETTER! The cheese sticks were seasoned and gooey. Burger was perfect. I ate my wife's chicken slider and it was amazing. Great spice and juicy chicken. The wife loved her sliders. She loved them so much she had me order 2 more to go!

I made a mistake when ordering the 2 sliders to go. I was charged with ordering 2 full sized burgers (my fault). I told staff and they refunded me the difference and gave me 2 extra sliders!

GREAT SERVICE! GREAT...

Loved this place. I plan to come back. Their peanut butter burger was a surprise combination that I really liked. If I’m being honest their kid menu sliders with fries and drink is 100% enough for an adult. the kid’s French fries were way too salty - still edible and I bet it was a one-time error. Will come Back!
