Kwench Juice Cafe — Restaurant in Tempe

This was my first time visiting, and I ordered a tropical smoothie without banana, which they swapped with an extra orange. While I appreciated the substitution, I was informed that omitting the banana would lead to a slushier texture instead of a smooth consistency. The flavor was good, but the smoothie ended up being more ice than fruit, which left it feeling a bit too watery. It was refreshing, though, and I liked that it was dairy-free, made with fresh fruit and ice. The combination of strawberries, mango, pineapple, and orange was nice, but I think it could’ve used a bit more fruit to make it richer and more flavorful.

On the positive side, the customer service was excellent. The cashier was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience pleasant. The store itself had a warm, earthy vibe that created a relaxed atmosphere. They also have a great setup for taking pictures with your friends while enjoying your smoothie, which is a nice touch. Clean, quaint juice bar tucked away in the thick of different cafes and shops. Delicious and prepared in front of you. The nice young lady running the place herself was very knowledgeable about the entire menu, and was delightful to interact with. I have to point out the thoughtfulness of her actions; never wasting a trip, cleaning as she went, proper sanitizing procedures, grasping the cups by the sides and not by the brim, all the lot of it. The tip box was annoyingly empty for such a proficient person. I will be returning....

We stopped by the Juice Cafe today and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is such a sweet and friendly lady.
