Oh mio dio! I have often joked with friends and family that I must have been Italian in one of my past lives because the amount of noodles I can pack away is staggering. Cream sauce, marinara, pesto, a classic cacio e pepe... It doesn't matter. Put noodz in front of me and watch me blush coyingly before devouring it. It's been a while since I've been excited about a new place but this place had me all a-flutter. I had a Lost In Tokyo, Fritto Misto, Polpette, and the Lamb Flatbread. Here's the breakdown: Lost In Tokyo ($16 - lemon washed japanese gin, plum sake, yuzu, egg white, cream, citrus): Any time an egg white foam is included on a drink, expect to wait. Such a delightful drink. Cheers, Yelpers. Fritto Misto ($16 - fried calamari, shrimp, capers, olives, fried lemon, romesco sauce, calabrian aioli): The fried lemon had me looking like the heart-eyes emoji. And can we talk about the lemony marinara that they serve on the side? It's so perfect in flavor that no fresh lemon was in sight. I love how confident they are about how you will love this fritto misto. Absolutely one of the best fried calamari dishes I've had. Give me the salty little bites of caperes and olives. YUM. Polpette ($12 - pork & beef meatballs, marinara, straticella cheese, basil, parmesan): Okay, I got to be real, these balls are FIRM. Like, you could use them as stress balls. I know not everybody is a fan of poaching meatballs in sauce to get them more tender but I think that would help. Just my opinion! Lamb Flatbread ($15): I felt like I stole Lamb Chop from Shari Lewis (RIP, queen) and gave that cute lamb a big ol' lick. It's a very gamey lamb and while staggering, it's not off-putting if you like lamb. I will say, ONLY get it if you like lamb. As for the flatbread they used, wow. Love it. I know they serve Noble bread here and I'm curious if the flatbread is Noble too because wow! Love that flatbread! Salted Caramel Gelato ($8): Mama mia! What a way to cap off a meal. It's savory-sweet and oh so decadent. It's quite delicious. I want to come back ASAP and try the Cacio Pepe Flatbread and Carbonara Flatbread. This is a cozier spot so expect having to scream at your dining companions. I recommend getting a reservation to come here as well.

The food is a 4/5 and the atmosphere is a 5/5 for a small space. The bread appetizer comes with lots of slices and a hearty portion of butter to choose from. Being 100% honest my wife and I were not massive fans of any of the butters. Having a plain whipped butter would have been nice. The tomato butter was too overpowering and the tomato flavor was too pronounced, the truffle butter leaned a little too heavy on the truffle front leading to an awkward flavor balance, and the lemon butter was my personal favorite but it could possibly be better with a stronger lemon flavor. The Brutus salad was a very large portion for a very fair price. The cheese chunks were a little too large and would be better if smaller or more chopper up. My wife wanted to replace the mustard vinaigrette with the apple vinaigrette and I actually think it paired better with the apples (we tried a side of the mustard vinaigrette). The steak and fries were a solid portion for the price. I ordered the steak medium rare but the steak came out closer to well done or medium-welldone. Hopefully it was just a slight error. I think the fries were a very unique shape (very square and large) but we're a little over salted. All in all I would consider going back. My wife and I both don't drink so we only care for food. I want to give extensive feedback in hopes it helps the bar.

Second visit, and again, extremely satisfied. This time for Sunday brunch. Arrived a bit early as they were finishing setting up the outdoor seating. We always enjoy outdoors as first choice, but not mid-July in Phoenix, so indoor it was and as you can see in the pictures, it has been beautifully put together. Service was attentive, professional, comfortable and fun. With only one other group there, it was quiet and peaceful. The Prosciutto Eggs Benedict was amazing. I’m not a mimosa kind of guy, and 10am on a Sunday morning isn’t my timing for alcohol, but looking forward to a Tuesday/Wednesday wine and pasta special at the bar next time. Now as much as I selfishly like that, this place needs to get busy! The food, the atmosphere, the service ……let’s get the word out!

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary, and it was our first time coming here. The place is small and intimate, highly recommend a reservation is made. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful in giving us her recommendations as far as drinks, apps and entrees. I tried the pornstar martini, and it was so delicious, definitely recommend it. My boyfriend had the Oaxacan Negroni, and he loved it as it’s a stronger taste on alcohol. We ordered the burrata and skewers, we loved the green sauce the skewers came with. I ordered the beef short rib based on the recommendation from our waitress and my GOODNESS it was sooo delicious and creamy, even my boyfriend was scarping the sauce off my plate. He ordered the flat iron steak that came also with a sauce with Gorgonzola and I’m very picky when it comes to cheeses but the sauce with the steak was absolutely delicious. Overall we absolutely loved it and would definitely come back and say to everyone to...
