Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Tempe

I wanted to post my experiences at Jersey Mike's Sandwich Shops. I travel all over the state and frequently eat lunch at a Jersey Mike's convenient on my route. It became apparent that one store stood out, and I found myself wanting to return to it every time lunch time rolled around. I was thinking why that one store what was it that drew me to this one location they all pretty much make the same sandwiches. But when I walked in, I was greeted with an energetic "Hello, welcome to Jersey Mike's!" This time, it was Hailey, and next to her was Urial with a warm welcoming smile. The previous day, it was Adirianna Hector and Leilani with that same energetic and welcoming address. This store has a very cohesive team approach, and customer service is infectious. This store is always intent on making each sandwich just the way it is requested, adding in the wanted condiments. From Trinity's smile and Lexus's commitment to getting the sandwiches quickly, the way Ryan and the rest of the team support the new hires like most recent Laura and Jahmeir. They are truly inspiring and a joy to watch their approach to getting the tasks accomplished and dealing with the mad rush we call lunch time as a cooperative team. For this group, it's "CRUNCH TIME," and they get it done. I have only witnessed one unhappy customer interaction, and Hailey handled it with courtesy and professionalism. I hope I got all the names & spelling correct and recognized everyone at this store because they earn it every day! This may sound contrived and corny, but I got to know them by their names because of their outgoing reception. All of them try to make my sandwich from memory, and they usually 100% correct. Sometimes people just learn to cooperate and work together and it makes the job more enjoyable for themselves and especially the customers. This store is always clean and well supplied. Tables are always ready to sit down and relax for lunch. I just call it the the Jersey Mike's that I enjoy going to, and the interaction with my friends at the sandwich shop is the reason. Super friendly sandwich dudes! When I got there they were doing the regular end of the night closing stuff. I wasn't sure what time it was so I just figured they were about to be closing any minute and I offered to go somewhere else cause I didn't want to be "that guy", LOL, and have them get the freshly cleaned counter tops and perfectly swept floor dirty again but they were quick to tell me " No problem at all! Please, order whatever you like!" The entire time I was there they were smiling and joking around and laughing with me....I don't know, I guess it was just nice to see someone enjoying their job and not irritated to have to be helping me so close to shop close because I have DEFINITELY been in restaurants super close to closing time and could feel the air get thick and tense with the kind of negative energy that no one likes being around....I mean c'mon it's your job, please don't make me feel uncomfortable for ordering food.....and these fellas sure diddnt. Very warm, welcoming and inviting environment. Thanks Jersey Mike's for making my sandwich taste just that...

I feel like I've had Jersey Mike's before, long ago, maybe for a catered work lunch 🤔? So, let's call this visit my 1st time at a Jersey Mike's. We had ham & provolone on the rosemary parm bread with the house seasoning, oil & vinegar. It was very delicious! Bread is fresh & soft but it could've been plain white bread because I didn't really notice any rosemary or parm. Still, fantastic bread. All sandwich stuffing were very fresh but they have a very limited selection. Less is more sometimes & I was only slightly disappointed they offered white onions instead of red & no mustard. They had banana & jalapeño pepper 🌶 slices though. Despite that, the sandwich was still really good. The guy that served us was sweet & did his job very well. The place is well maintained & clean. You can tell the owners & managers care about this shop. We got it to go & I don't recall any sitting patrons. I definitely recommend for a fresh, simple, yummy sandwich.
