waitress was polite throughout my visit.
I received utensils at table, was quite prompt taking my order, províded water, lemon, sugar at the beginning of my meal.
I would like to have seen her at least 2 more times during my dining experience for another glass or 2 of water.
I'm pretty much low maintenance a restaurant patron. I did not voice any concerns during my visit I needed to understand what the rest of my experience would be like without any input from myself so as not to cause any unintentional influence during this visit.
Finally under the presure of my own personal lack of adequate hydration I folded, my thirst won and I had to ask the manger for water. The manager stated, 'of course, and headed from the bar to back section, kitchen, to locate her I imagine, he reappeared at the bar AFTER 15 MINUTES, no water, or server. OMG-Seriously. I was about ready, after waiting for another 5 minutes, to just go up to the bar myself and get some more water myself, as I was getting up my server appeared.
I did not mention that I requested the manager to possibly get me a refill on my water, or anything else for that matter, just asked if she would be so kind and possibly get me a refill on my water. She very politely said of course, and did so.
Despite that one issue with the server that was not available for a bit, she was great on all other assigned duties during my visit dining with that location on that night.
I tipped her 20% for her efforts.
Since I am writing this review a week after my visit, I wanted to take the time to really clearly consider my servers actual direct interaction with me, and what her responsibilities were, what she had control over, versus specific things not in her control that may or may not have been spot in. I can not in good conscience hold any person responsible for what is not in their direct control or responsibility.
Food for the most part was ok I did get a little bit I'll from the pasta figole, I had soup and salad, and The pasta frittata, I don't recall the exact name of the dish since it's newer, similar the the lasagna frittata though. It was delicious in any event.
Thanks, hope...
Read moreTisk tisk. Not a good experience Olive Garden. Last night 12-5-2020 you guys dropped the ball....multiple times. First let me say, our waiter was nice and no blame on him, but he could of brought it to SOMEONES attention at LEAST...but instead we were reminded multiple times that it was "out of his control"....fine...whatever. So first we got seated with like a 2 min wait, no complaints there. Ordered 3 margarita chickens and a chicken pram with a glass of wine (as my mother-in-law always does), 3 soups and 1 salad. Unfortunately the salad we got was welty, over dressed...just literally no crunch at all. It looked like salad sitting in your refrigerator overnight.....it was sad. My wife's soup was fine but my in laws didn't get theirs. THEN before my inlaws even got their soup (which is usually served before a main course) we got our main meals....like literally mins after. Probably 6-8 mins after we ordered.....that was super sketch. Made us feel not only rushed but like as if it was someone elses and they gave it to us...regardless way too quick considering half our party didn't even get their soup. They did take it back which I really didnt think was a good idea in fear of something nasty happening to it but we took the chance. Noticed I haven't said anything about Olive gardens iconic breadsticks or the wine???? That's cuz we hadn't gotten them yet lol. Now we did order breadsticks with no butter but come on, those things take like 7 minutes. Finally our meals came....but still no wine OR FREAKIN BREADSTICKS!!. We got half way through our meal when we finally got the bread sticks and wine. So sad. I know it doesn't seem that big of a deal but when you're paying $16 to $17 a plate at a well-known chain restaurant you kind of expect the basics out of the resturant who was NOT busy or understaffed. We don't go out much nowadays with covid...and we really were expecting a great night...our...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant located at 1010 W Elliot Rd, Tempe, AZ 85284, and it was a delightful experience!
Atmosphere and Service I found myself in the area for a listing appointment and decided to stop by Olive Garden for lunch, having not been there in about a year. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful meal. My server, Sima, was exceptional—attentive and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit.
Food Experience I opted for the All-You-Can-Eat Soup & Salad along with some delicious cheese sticks and iced tea.
Soup**: The Zupa soup was absolutely excellent! It was rich in flavor and comforting, perfect for a satisfying lunch.
Salad**: The salad was fresh and crisp, and I particularly enjoyed it topped with cheese and a sprinkle of black pepper. It was a refreshing complement to my meal.
Cheese Sticks**: The cheese sticks were a highlight! They were delicious when served hot, and I recommend enjoying them right away for the best experience.
Overall, my lunch at Olive Garden was wonderful. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. I look forward to returning soon!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ —————————————————————— TIP
I tipped my waitress 20% based on the meal price, which I felt was fair for the excellent service I received. However, I noticed that the suggested tip amounts on the receipt included the sales tax. Personally, I prefer to calculate my tip based solely on the meal cost, as I believe that the government already taxes me enough. It's important to me to tip based on the service provided rather than the total bill that...
