Zzeeks Pizza — Restaurant in Tempe

Ordered 2 sandwiches online for takeout. Wife says her sandwich was good but my sandwich on the other hand was not. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak. My son took about half the sandwich and inhaled it. My half had an overwhelming taste of oregano. Was very dry. Also there was no cheese on my half. I do not mean that there was a small amount of cheese, there was no cheese at all. I did order my sandwich with no pepper or onions but never said no to cheese. I called in to speak with the manager to confirm that this was indeed a Philly Cheese Steak.Cheese steaks should be cooked to order. I do not think it was. He says "yes" its very popular item. I asked why there was no cheese on my sandwich.He then told me that there is definitely cheese on my sandwich and that they put 2 slices of cheese on my sandwich? Does that mean that I am lying? So instead of arguing with him I offered to post a photo to prove that there is no cheese on my Sandwich He said "ok". and that was the end of the call. Not great on the customer service. I think this sandwich is exactly the same as an Italian beef with different toppings. If there were 2 slices of cheese then they were transparent. There is a reason this is called a Cheese Steak. We went here for the first time for a fundraiser from my child's school. They were really busy at this time. The food was good, the only issue is our chicken tenders were a bit overcooked. We let them know in a small survey not expecting anything. This is when Jody immediately emailed back and rectified the situation. She went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied. I don't blame them for this as like I said it was busy on this night. This deserves a 5 star review due to the customer service, responses and overall good food. We will be back 100%. So I ordered a Detroit style pizza. It was not as expected (see pic). However, that's not ALL that I'm disappointed with. I called and explained what I thought a Detroit style pizza is (there is no clear description on their website), and the employee that I talked to said, "that's just how our Detroit style is..." Then before I could say anything else he just hung up. Customer service is a big part of a restaurant. If you don't like talking to customers don't work there. And if you're hiring people who don't want to talk to customers, find different people.
