This was my first time eating at Cozy Cofe Café Restaurant & Bar. I never had the chance to visit the original Cozy Café, but my girlfriend had many times, so it was nice to share this experience with her at the new location. Atmosphere & Space We were both very impressed with the size and look of the restaurant. Even though it was busy, it never felt crowded. The inside is spacious, and the outdoor seating area is a great option for those who enjoy dining outside. If you’re looking for a place that can easily handle a large group, this spot can definitely accommodate it. Service The service was just okay—not bad, but not great either. That said, it’s understandable since the restaurant hasn’t been open very long and it was quite busy during our visit. One area that needs improvement is the initial welcome. Greeting guests warmly is important, and they weren’t really hitting that mark. Still, we were seated quickly, and our order was taken in a reasonable amount of time. Food did take a while to come out, but we don’t mind waiting if it means the food is being freshly cooked. Drinks & Menu The menu has a lot of great options, including multiple beverage selections: a standard drink menu, a coffee menu, and yes—even an adult beverage menu. We started with the Pineapple Mimosa, which was excellent. We also tried one of their coffee flights (they offer several types), and it was absolutely delicious. Food I ordered their multi–award-winning Cuban sandwich with a side of loaded sweet potato tots. The Cuban was very good, though I would have liked to see a bit more meat. The tots, however—ohhh sweet mercy—were creative, different, and absolutely delicious. My girlfriend went with the Jammin’ Bacon Burger and fries. The burger was fantastic—great size, juicy, and full of flavor. The only downside was the small portion of fries. Overall While my girlfriend misses the charm of the old Cozy Coffee however she really likes the new space with all its room and energy. I agree—this new location has so much potential. The owners are hardworking, and you can tell this place is still building up to greatness. With a little refinement on service and portion consistency, Cozy Cofe Café Restaurant & Bar is well on its way to becoming a go-to spot. We will be back to support the NEW Cozy Coffee Restaurant and Bar.

I’ve been a cozy regular for a little bit now and have been so excited for them to open let’s just say I was not disappointed. Took me about 10 minutes to get seated. I could tell they were clearly overwhelmed with the sheer amount of people that were in there which is awesome. The food took a little bit to come out, which is completely understandable. They’re swamped, but the food was delicious. I got the deviled egg appetizer, which was really good very well seasoned, The Caesar salad came with my meal and it was very delicious. There’s not too much dressing on there, which I like, but it was still super flavorful and moist, the meatloaf tasted homemade the mashed potatoes were really good as well as freshly steamed vegetables. Misty and Nate were great servers very attentive and they apologized for the wait on the food. The atmosphere still holds their steam punk vibe. The bathrooms are adorable and the bar is really nice so glad to see them expand and be busy.

This is one of favorite casual dining restaurants in Tampa. Not only do they offer breakfast all day, they have a lunch menu with burritos, sandwiches, and much more. Their drink menu is insane! They have so many options like smoothies, teas, and even redbull and coffee flights. As an energy drink lover, I was amazed that they even offer redbull flights. The hot honey sandwich I ordered was phenomenal. I got an over easy egg and it was so gooey and delicious, it was a perfect pairing with the potato bun, sausage, and honey. Both savory and sweet, this is exactly what I want in a breakfast sandwich. The Cuban breakfast sandwich was good, and the soy chorizo was a great addition. Everything was seasoned well and the Cuban bread added a nice crunch. The only downside is that I wish the sandwich was larger. Instagram: @RosiesFoodTour TikTok: @RosiesFoodTour Yelp: @Rosie A

I will say the service was very good and everyone was very kind! I really loved our server so much she was a sweet heart. The drink selection was good as well (it used to be just a café). The food, however, was kinda really bad. We got the espresso porkchop and the mango habanero salmon. The porkchop espresso season blend was very delicious but for the price paid I feel as if the meat portion should be bigger or at least two of the little porkchops served. It was also advertised to come with mashed potatoes and veggies I believe but I did not get either of those sides unfortunately. The Salmon meal was also disappointing unfortunately. The veggies did come with that meal but they were definitely a frozen medley of steamed veggies. The rice that came with the meal was under seasoned sadly (needed more salt in the water) as well as seeming like boil bag rice due to the texture and over all bland flavor. The salmon meal was also said on the menu to come with mashed potatoes as well I believe but we also did not receive those either. The salmon itself wasn't too horrible but the flavor, texture, and overall composition of the dish was not worth the price in my personal opinion. We were offered the option between soup or salad as well where we got a chicken noodle. I will say it tasted and looked extremely similar to the in stores panera chicken noodle soup I eat at home very often which was quite odd and the contents in the soup were all overly soft sadly. (of course i have no idea if thats what they actually use here, it just was so insanely similar i was a bit offput). I did get some loaded sweet potato tots that were quite good but also very basic, definitely not bad though. Overall we thought the food was quite unimpressive but the drinks we tried were all delicious. We ordered flight 1 of both the redbull drinks and the coffees as well as an apple cider Chai. all were delish ESPECIALLY the chai I got. I will say, it did just open as a restaurant today and they have lots of improving to do so I would love to return eventually and give things another try and perhaps make an updated...

I’ve been coming to Cozy Cafe for awhile and am so exited they are expanding! We went to the grand opening! It’s was nice! Have to give them some time because it’s all new for them too! The food I thought was extremely tasty! We ordered the deviled eggs! My only complaint here was they need more of the yolk filling! Deviled eggs are full! The toppings just add it it!

My husband had the meatloaf and I had the fish & chips! Both very tasty! But for the prices, the portions too small! When people order Fish & Chips they are expecting a larger portion than what was served. Three very small strips of fish and hardly any “chips” was disappointing. Same with the meatloaf!! It was maybe four ounces of meatloaf , a couple spoonfuls of vegetables and some mashed potatoes. My friend came and ordered the award winning Cuban. It came out with no pulled pork. It was a flat sandwich. We said there was no pulled pork on sandwich and instead of taking it back, they served a side of pulled pork. Which I guess was ok so that they didn’t bring the sandwich back to kitchen.

Drinks, mine was fantastic! I got the mojito! But my husband’s “smoked” old fashion was not smoking and was barely two ounces. Again, the cost of drink compared to what was served was difficult to justifying ordering. Consult professional on how to smoke an old fashion!

Desserts were both yummy! The mystery dessert was good and we also got the peach cheesecake with hot honey! Very tasty!

Two suggestions, portions! You want people to want to come and be able to be full especially for the prices of the meals. The table next to us had to order more fries because there were only a handful on their kid’s plates. Adults will definitely want more!

Second, consult a professional on noise buffering. It was extremely loud in there. Could barely hear each other speak or the waitress. Idk if you can keep patio non-smoking?

Overall, food delicious! Just need more! The atmosphere is Cozy but too loud. That I think can be...
