I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming coffee shop, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the warm smile of Mary, who truly made my experience exceptional.

Mary's welcoming demeanor and genuine care for her customers immediately made me feel right at home. Not only did she take the time to recommend their specialty blends, but she also made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed to enjoy my visit.

The ambiance of the coffee shop was cozy and inviting, perfect for both catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. The decor was tasteful and reflected the shop's commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Great location and work vibe if you need a few hours as a remote worker through the week or if you just want to chill. Open late to 12am which is great for those looking to burn some midnight oil and need a boost beverage. Tastefully decorated with ambient chill background music complements the soft leather sofas and casual seating. The bar is large and permits good workspace and wifi connectivity. Staff is amazing - Grace, Lily, Jacob and Taylor - when you need a break from the work stuff - you can count on a pleasant conversation with smiles. A nice selection of kava and kratom beverage, with many flavors for your pallet round off teh basic coffee menu . You can also addon kratom or kava to your coffee bean drinks. The happy hour is a bargain ( 7-10pm ??) and basic munchies as well pastries to get you through the day. My choice kratom is a simple white with a splash of agave and white peach. The Super Strength is as advertised - potent and overall well balanced and tasteful. I highly recommend the Expresso Martini with kratom for those special times . Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service

I had a terrible experience at The Muddy Roots Kava Coffee and would not recommend it to families or anyone expecting basic hospitality. My children were simply playing when an aggressive, rude customer took issue with them for no valid reason. She was confrontational and unnecessarily hostile, but thankfully, other customers stepped in to defend us and tell her she was in the wrong.

Instead of de-escalating the situation, the barista (who was already mediocre at her job) made things worse. She lacked basic customer service skills and had no idea how to handle the situation professionally. We had already returned a drink that was completely botched, so we weren’t impressed with the quality in the first place.

Rather than addressing the real problem—the rude customer—the barista asked us to leave, making it clear that families with kids are not welcome here. It’s disappointing to see a business that not only serves subpar drinks but also favors rude customers over common sense and good service.
