We ordered dinner via UberEats last night, 4/21/23. Rating is a 4 star. It was our first time trying out this restaurant and I would definitely order again.
I am pleasantly surprised with the grilled cod fish tacos. VERY filling as it is served with generous amount of fish. And the bonus side of plantains and rice with black beans are a plus. Plantains are my favorite side dish add-on to fish tacos. It would be nice to see plantains as a side dish option to purchase, at least that was an option the food app.
This restaurant is running a promo on the app. Or if the is Buy one get one free on their cheesecake dessert. I highly recommend their fluffy mousse-like whipped cheesecakes, so delicious! They taste homemade and slices were large.
The only reason why I didn’t give this a 5 stars is bc the taco was on the drier end. It could had used complimentary sauces and lime/lemon. Also, the food was cold by the time my delivery arrived. Will definitely reorder and try the crispy fish version next time.

Updated review from 4 stars to 5 stars.
I ordered the fried cod Californian tacos last night!!! Unbelievably delicious. This time there were plenty of sauces- on the taco and complimentary salsa on the side. The fried cod was still warm and batter was extra crispy! The three huge tacos will fill up ANYONE up! I had two tacos and couldn’t even finish the last one. Plus the complimentary rice and bean will definitely put you over the top if you are able to eat all three tacos!
My husband’s Santa Fe steak salads is another must try! Mixed green salad, with slices of avocados, tomatoes, albell peppers, pickles, and onions. They included two types of salad dressings for your pick, AND a generous portion of steaks!!!
The Oreo cheesecake was thick and creamy. Consistency is different from the original cheesecake flavor. I reorder the original cheesecake again and this time it was softer, and a little on the runny side, not as fluffy, closer to pudding-like… maybe the recipe had less cream cheese? So I prefer the Oreo cheesecake’s solidified consistency, which is closer to how Juniors’s Cheesecakes...

Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls French Dip Vodka Chicken Parmesan Funfetti Cake Cookie Monster Wild Shake
In downtown Tenafly is a local diner that serves a variety of dishes.
The buffalo chicken egg rolls is a fantastic starter. The egg rolls packed with seasoned chicken and are served with blue cheese.
Take a dip with the tender French dip. Be sure to dip your hoagie into the au jus. The homemade potato chips are hot and freshly made, which is a great side dish.
For a diner, the chicken Parmesan was superior! There were two full size cutlets along with penne pasta. The sauce was thick and creamy; if I could, I would have ate the sauce by the gallon!
The mozzarella cheese didn’t have a golden brown char appearance, but don’t let that fool you. The melted mozzarella blended perfectly with the cutlet, pasta, and sauce!
The Funfetti cake was an excellent dessert; the cake was served chilled with layers of frosting in between the spongy, cake. My minor critique is that I wish the donut hole wasn’t sliced as that compromises the appearance.
Usually, I’m not a fan of wild shakes as the toppong is too overbearing. However, this does not apply with the Cookie Monster because the sugar cookie is not too powerful or sweet. In addition, the vanilla milkshake is dyed aqua blue to match the iconic Sesame Street character. The Cookie Monster design is very attractive and realistic.
This was a fantastic experience re-visiting this restaurant.

Read moreMy brother and I went to this diner andddd. The waitress assumed we spoke spanish , and judged my brother when he said he didnt. She went personal and asked if he was my husband when I said no , she said we made a cute couple. Before we even finished ordering our app. She had walked away. Mind you the app we got was a PREZTEL and it was half frozen. When we decided to order our entries. My brother ( picky eater) had questions about his food , the waitress kept speaking in spanish because she was comfortable, even thou the person asking the questions doesnt speak it. We asked what was in the chicken carbanora , she said chicken and sauce. When asked what type of sauce she said YOU DONT KNOW WHATS IN A CARBONARA. Obviously not. Which is why were asking. She reluctantly said it's good pasta everyone I sell it to loves it. And sold us the pasta. We googled it. Got the food , ate around it because the sauce has bacon and onion bits , and he doesnt eat that. When the waitress came to check on us, she asked me hows the pasta. My brother sitting there with a full plate still I tell her , he doesnt eat onions , x4 . She said " but it's good right ", you should have asked " and the in spanish said" TELL HIM ITS GOOD FOR HIS HAIR". We asked to speak to the manager , but he never showed up !!!! . When we asked for our bill. The waitress forgot about us as well , and 20 mins later still with no bill she was wrapping utensils. I would have walked out. Idgaf. But not to cause a scene and me labeled as a difficult Latina. We waited, got our bill and paid full price and left a tip. But never againnnnnnn will I go this place. This...
