We came in to order food and drinks. We did not get to the food because of bad service and poor quality drinks that according to the ‘manager’ (because the real manager was hiding in the back, Javier) Initially the micheladas we ordered tasted stale and we wanted a drink exchange. The waiter explained he couldn’t do that because the alcohol. We then asked if it can be swapped for a different style drink, again the waiter explained that he couldn’t do that. At this point we just asked for it to be taken off the check, the waiter explained that the ‘manager’ would have to come out which we agreed. The manager explained the process and explained they would have to at least charge for the alcohol and take off the mix portion off the check. We said this is the first time we heard of this in the restaurant industry. We then were told that the micheladas are made in batches and was made yesterday, hearing this we insisted that the michelada be taken off the check and we were told yes but this can only be done one time. After hearing all this we did not feel this was a good place to eat questioning other practices they might be doing. I asked for the manager (Javier) to come out again and he did not show up and I talked to his assistant again. I asked him if he knew why we are leaving he said he did not know, and explained the ‘michelada does not go bad and is easier to make in batches’ at which point I explained how this shortcut was easily detectable to us and we were able to taste the quality before this was even mentioned and since Javier could not face his customers and overall experience we decided this is the LAST time we come to...
Read moreI went for my birthday, this past tuesday me and my family. I called ahead of time abd ask would I be able to have a table for 12 all together the man said yes.they said we dont take reservations at all but you should be fine its a tuesday. I get there that was not the case. half of my family was at another table, the hostess was very rude, she did not try to assist in finding a solution. Basically was like take it or leave it. The sever was even worst, I orderd a peach pitcher and was brought lime. Our food was not hot it actually tasted like it had been sitting in the window. None of our cheese dips were hot either. We even had a skillet come out they were not even hot. The tacos were dry and no sauce, plain just meat and shell. Half of my party did not even eat there food. His Service was very rushed, half of things we asked for on food, we did not receive. He would write things down and then not bring it to the table. We ordered veggies on nachos, they did not come on there and then he acted confused like we did not see him write it down. Nothing was done to acknowledge my birthday.Which i have seen them do for other families. Overall this is my worst experience at this restaurant that is one of my favorite. We still gave him 20%. But I will not be returning to...
Read moreJust want to give a shout out to Camino on Sam Ridley. It was my son's birthday last night he turned six. He's never been to a Mexican restaurant on his birthday so I don't think he knew what was coming. And yes I know bad on my part for not warning the boy but I never imagined it to go bad! I knew the second the man whistled and it startled my son it was about to go bad but it was too late they were already halfway through the song and he started to smile. He had his fingers shoved in his ears but he was smiling. Then it got to the part where they put whipped cream on his face. And when they rubbed that whipped cream on his face he got so mad and embarrassed. He curled up in a little ball and just started sobbing. The men immediately stopped singing and left the table to give him space and let us comfort him. Each one of them came back and apologized directly to him separately. They also brought him suckers! He'll probably never come back on his birthday but the apologies and the suckers definitely helped and he wasn't mad at you guys afterwards. He was mad at me because I should have warned him, rightfully so... I just wanted to shout you guys out y'all...
