First Watch — Restaurant in Smyrna

At first appearance the restaurant is nice but after waiting roughly 7 minutes to be seated when being the first customers to arrive was a bit annoying. After being seated we ordered some waters that took a bit longer(about 5 minutes) to get them expected with us being only customers they had as of yet (granted they did seem to try and get things set up for just opening) while waiting on server the table had something sticky on it that I was waiting to get a server to ask for them to clean it but decided to just clean it with a napking and a bit of my water. Order took about 25 minutes to finally get (at this point we've been here roughly 37 minutes from walking in the door and getting food sent to table. Then we realized the waiter dropped off food but never asked if we needed anything else to now realizing we didn't get any silverware and the server was nowhere to be seen (didn't see her for almost 10 minutes when we had almost finished eating but she never came over merely seen her go to another person's table) so I ended up going back up to the reservation/entrance wait spot to where I had seen them grabbing silverware from a tray. Now after finally eating I can say the food is fair but not great. The price is expensive for the small portions. The service isn't what it needs to be nor is it clean finally after about 10 more minutes I see the waiter to get my check. By the time I get my card back and get up to leave I had been at the restaurant for just over an hour. for breakfast, This is excessively to long for being the first customers with no special type of order. This is not a place I would recommend for expedient service or for cleanliness. As far as waiter that's hit or miss anywhere. Just not a good impression for me and this is the second time I've given them a shot to having worse service the second time around. I don't believe I'll try for a third...

I came here for the first time today. Arath was an excellent server, he was kind, polite, and helpful, and answered every question I had. I came here specifically wanting avocado toast and two sides of eggs, they were charging $13 and some change at Bella Vista for just the avocado toast but they had it with the eggs here for basically the same price, I’m glad I finally came here because this is by far the best breakfast spot in Smyrna. The food presentation, quality, taste, amount, and service actually match the price here. I was honestly really blown away. The blue booster with the wellness shot was so delicious. I got my salt and pepper ready to add to the avocado toast before I even tasted it because I’m so used to breakfast places not seasoning their food right, I took one bite and was shocked at how flavorful it was, I literally didn’t even need to add anymore seasoning. The avocado was a little heavy on lemon juice, but that’s how I prefer it anyway so I wasn’t really bothered by it. I was really just shocked at the amount of avocado they put on there, I promise you Panera bread would NEVER ! The eggs were cooked perfectly too, I love that they were slightly runny in the center, they didn’t overcook them. I wish they had seasoned the eggs but the avocado toast was so flavorful the eggs didn’t even really need it. My only complaint is they shouldn’t close soo early in the day the way they do, that was a bit disappointing. Regardless, I was seriously so impressed with this place. Well decided to try to go again BIG mistake. Order was to be ready for pick up at 12:43 got there at 1 order still not ready. When I did get my order for the cost of food was not worth what I had paid. The toast was bread with no butter, eggs cold as well as potatoes. My husband ordered gravy and biscuits - biscuits over cooked burnt bottoms. The food has really gone down in quality. When they first opened we would go two maybe three times a month was pleasant. Now this restaurant is off my list will no longer waste my time or money for sub par food at high prices.

Advised wait was 30 minutes then told due to computer issues wait would be longer. This restaurant attitude is NOT worth wait rude to customers. If you have half a day to be seated then this is your place.

Tried this location again on 4/30/23 big mistake. After waiting past pick up time when I got to my home which is five minutes from this location food COLD my order set while delivery orders were being taken over pick up from customers. Even if you use their call ahead seating still 30 minute wait really. Will spend my money elsewhere, as First Watch clearly does not care about customer satisfaction

8/27/23 Went again ordered on line pic up time 10:51, however order was NOT ready got it at 11:10 so I guess if you order on line add additional 20 minutes.
