We stayed here for one night to get some sleep on a recent road trip. When I attempted to check in at the stupid kiosk (no live agent, for YOUR convenience!), I was unable to. Multiple phone calls to the number listed on the screen when I was unable to activate a room key were left unanswered and nobody ever called me back after leaving a voicemail. Luckily, earlier in the day a front desk agent had called to confirm our reservation so I tried that number. The one person on staff at night answered the phone without a greeting, asked what I needed, and when I told her, she said “I’m not sure I’ll be able to get it to work either since your reservation was for yesterday (we arrived around 1:00 am with 2 crying kids who just wanted to go to bed).” She then hung up on me. I waited a couple minutes and called back because she never said she was going to try to fix it, make me a key, come talk to me, etc. She snapped at me and said she was coming out. She finally got the room key printed and then scolded me for not coming at 3:00 PM which is when check in time is. Even though a sign on the wall states “Checking in between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am, call this number for service.” The hotel itself is BRAND new. Very nice spacious room with a full kitchen. Only downside is there are no dishes, silverware, pans, cooking utensils, etc included. You have to rent those or buy them at the front desk. For the same price, you can stay at a Home2Suites and get better service and all the plates and utensils and pans are included.

I stayed there for one night. The rooms were clean and the building itself was very modern. I had no complaint regarding that. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars was because after I checked in, I went to my room to rest and took a shower. Someone then tried to enter my room. And I heard a keycard being used to enter. Mind you, I had no clothes on as I was taking a shower, and looking for clothes. Luckily I had the door stopper if not they would’ve enter. NO KNOCK, NO NOTHING! Turns out it was the front desk employee, a gentleman, trying to check if the room was vacant. He was the one who checked me in and gave me my room key. I found that completely disrespectful. You DON’T just enter a room without knocking!! It would’ve been such an embarrassing situation. I do hope they learn to knock first, and check if anyone is in the room.

Staying here was better than any place I've stayed before. The staff was super helpful when the keycard didn't print correctly at the kiosk, but that was an easy quick fix. The room was spacious with clean linens, the bathroom was stocked with towels and complimentary soaps if needed. The kitchenette area was clean with plates, bowls, and some silverware. LivAway had everything you would need for a decent weekend stay in Smyrna, TN. The only issue I had was the noise, whether the people in the next room or above me, it seemed the walls/ floors were thin. Other than that my stay was fantastic!

I wish I had taken photos. The staff was VERY unprofessional. Seemed like I was bothering them just to check in. They assumed me a room on the 2nd floor at first but my card didn’t open the door ( Thank God ).I went back down stairs and told the receptionist the situation. She apologized and said that room was already occupied . And assigned me a room on the third floor. ( Should have been my first red flag ). The AC did not seem to be working in any of the common areas. Only the AC in the room worked ( made the room very humid and bedding damp) due to the outside temperature and the hot temperatures in the hallway being very different. The room was poorly cleaned. The microwave was disgusting, still had left over food from the previous residents in both the fridge and freezer. Seemed like we had clean sheets and pillow cases but the comforter had definitely not been washed. Has small child finger prints over the windows, mirrors, head board, and TV. We even found a very nasty baby bottle with I’m guessing sour milk still in it. We only stayed one night and found a better place the following morning. The construction is very cheap. You can literally hear everything. Just people walking shakes the walls. I will NEVER be staying at an establishment under the livAway chain again.

Other than the cheap construction and very thin floor and walls it seems like the Smyrna location has VERY poor management and quality control.

The location is super convenient and Close to shopping and dining. It’s such a shame poor management and quality control has ruined this location. I do a tremendous amount of work in the Smyrna and Murfreesboro area but I will never book these...

Rooms are adequate. Our biggest gripe was the pounding loudness from the room above us that management wouldn’t address (they moved US instead). We ended up extending our stay & because they had our CC on file the manager said we can do it on a week to week payment. A week later the mgr POUNDED on our door saying (almost yelling, but not) that we had an outstanding bill. I was shocked at how rude he was. Told him I will be right up to take care of it. Went to front desk and said “There’s no reason for all of the aggression” He snapped and said “ There’s no reason to have a balance due!” Again shocked at his rudeness. He then told me that he mentioned it to my husband the day before. My husband had a brain injury last fall and didnt remember the convo…. By the time I got up the the front desk they had charged my card $400. I assumed they would charge it as needed (which is kinda what they WERE doing). So there was no reason for the pounding on door or any rudeness because they ended up charging my card anyways. The rest of the staff were VERY nice!! ALOT of pot being smoked outside and inside. Laundry facilities onsite for 3.50 per load ($7 to w & d) a lot of people end up leaving clothes in machine all day long. People also don’t pick up after their dogs ( land mines everywhere). The WiFi went...
