Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the order I placed was repeated correctly by the cashier however, it was entered into the cash register wrong and I was charged the wrong price. The price was $61.28. I knew something was fishy going on when I was first told my card was declined. I knew that was wrong. The cashier had unplugged or manipulated the card machine. The manager on shift at the cash register #1 told the young girl that took my order to not unplug the device again. I found that quite odd and she quickly scanned my card again. This was done with quick motion and totally ignoring my comments about retrieving my card from them. The young girl and the manager were very rude and would pretend like they could not hear or understand what I was saying to them about my order. Once they handed me my food through the drive-thru window I pulled over and parked and checked my food. I found that I had been charged for coleslaw that cost $6.39. I did ask for one additional tartar sauce and I knew that I would be paying extra for it because the young lady that rang me up told me so and I told her that was fine. I also found that the cheesecake that I ordered was not a cheesecake. Instead it was a box of mozzarella sticks. I tried to explain this to them as I drove back around rather than cutting in front of everyone, instead they told me to come up to the front to get a cheesecake but, they still refuse to listen. I guess they thought if they gave me something free I would be okay about that. I was insulted due to the fact the manager was very rude and refused to have a discussion about my order being wrong. So I said to her. You charged me for things I did not ask for. Giving me a cheesecake for free does not fix my problem. Because your cashier does not know the difference between tartar sauce and coleslaw. The cashier insisted that the tartar sauce was coleslaw and that she had done her job. I told her we do not eat coleslaw. I don't want it and it shouldn't be on my ticket. I didn't order mozzarella sticks and throwing a cheesecake on the counter is not correcting the problem with my money. The manager then told me we don't do refunds because the drawer is already closed. I knew she could not be talking about the store because this happened well before it was time to close so she may have been referring to the order. Since she was being so rude that maybe what made her communication off a little. I told her I was not looking for a refund. I simply wanted my money that was owed to me that they took without permission and without those particular items even being ordered. She thought that her rudeness, swiftness, intentionally ignoring me would dismiss this issue. She told me as if she knew my schedule to come back tomorrow and tell the manager on Friday, that I needed a refund. Now if you couldn't give me a refund yesterday what makes you think you can give me a refund tomorrow. I'm no fool. The plane with the credit card machine and intentionally adding on items that we did not ask for let me know this must be an ongoing problem and it has not been addressed. When I thought about it, if they're doing this all day. And not refunding anyone back their money behind their mistakes they're either stealing money or food for themselves at the end of the day as if it has been paid for by them when actually the customers have paid for this food that has not been refunded rightfully. I was clearly not an isolated case. As I closely paid attention to how they also handled the customers on the inside. The same thing that happened to me at the drive-thru window was also happening at the counter inside the store. I saw a man complain about not having all of his food that came with what he ordered. The way that manager took the takeout box and threw this man's bread and whatever else inside of the box in such a way that it would make you not want to eat the food from this location on hacks Cross and Lowrance. I did my best to be polite, discreet and understanding. My child was even disgusted by the cashier and Manager's...
Read moreRude person on speaker. I start out the order request stating I have a coupon and read the information as 2 piece fish free with purchase of a 2 piece and large drink. The woman kept cutting me off talking about a 3 piece. I then spelled F R E E. Twice I had to spell. I wasn't confused about my statement and the speaker was working just fine. Finally she gets it and in a nasty tone says, "Have your coupon ready!". I get to the window and show coupon on phone. She rudely exclaims, "She gotta coupon on the phone." Meanwhile, another woman comes to the window to get the phone. She almost dropped my phone! She dropped the site from where I had the coupon so I had to look it up once more. After getting my phone for the transaction and giving it back to me, another woman, maybe manager asks for the phone. I said she'd just gotten the coupon from the phone. She told me it was needed again. The younger woman then said she had it. The older woman was saying I had an attitude to the other 2 women. Highly unprofessional for a possible manager. I was met with rude attitude from the time I placed a simple order. Seems I was served the smallest pieces of fish. If you're a regular Captain D's patron, you know these are not the average size pieces of fish. If this continues, I'll be visiting Captain D's far less. The tea was watered down and full of extra ice. Terrible Service on this visit and very small pieces of fish. I can't say I recommend Captain D's location on Hacks Cross,...
Read moreCustomer service through the drive-thru was horrible. I asked the young lady at the window for condiments twice only for her to respond its in the bag. I got home only to find my order was incomplete. I did not have any hush puppies, my fish looked as if it absorbed oil from sitting a while. My mac-n-cheese contained green vegetables and my broccoli contained greyish blemishes. I contacted the store to advise manager and I was told she stepped out and I would need to call back in the morning. I asked for the manager on duty name and what do you know I was placed on hold 3 minutes later the manager picks up. I tried to advise her of my experience. But every time I said something she cut me off. I told her I would contact the district manager and she hung up in my face. 05/19 a 9:20 p.m. Terrible Customer Service. . Horrible Management no people skills. The manager "female" stated her store has been robbed several times therefore she has to go out to case the premises. Really! So Captain D your female manager has to inspect the exterior of the building for possible robbers? There are several companies who sale mobile monitored cameras. Take care of your employee so that they will be happy to take care of...
