Frosted by Maddie — Restaurant in Terre Haute

Me and my son discovered this place as I was picking him up from school ( Terre haute location) he asked if we could go in and try something, we got some of their huge brownies & their treat box. ( highly recommend the treat box!) everything was delicious! I ordered his birthday cake from here, he chose the heath flavor, ( btw they have a lot of flavors to choose from!) let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! First of all, the cake was absolutely beautiful, and it tasted amazing! I placed my order through messenger ( as I was in the hospital) easy peasy order process. Cake was ready when I went to pick up, and the gentleman that waited on us was very kind, & courteous! My son was very pleased when he seen and tasted his cake. Wow! These people are awesome! I of course forgot to plan ahead of time and called them day of to see if they could do a dozen cookies to surprise my parents with. My wife and I used the cookies to announce the gender of our second child. They were able to work something out they could get done quickly. A few hours later we showed up and they had beautifully decorated sugar cookies waiting. Not only did they look good they were the best tasting sugar cookies I’ve ever had. The outside of the building looks rough but don’t let that discourage you the inside is gorgeous! On a side note when my wife (also a Maddie) and I called a Maddie answered and ended up transferring us to another Maddie to help given the time frame 😂. The wedding cake tasted good, but we didn’t get what we ordered. When I sent pics, response was just that yes, it was different. When I asked if that was the only response, I was told I was rude, that they didn’t do anything wrong, and that I don’t have to like their bakery.
