We called before we came in to make sure they had unlimited crab legs on the buffet and we were so happy that they did and drove an hour to get some. when we got there around 7pm we noticed most of the dishes they had on the buffet were empty or nearly gone. we were seated to our table and the waitress comes along to ask how many people and kids were expected for the buffet? I told her 9 and that would be 6 adults and 3 kids. I specified several times we were 9 people and she didn't seem to understand and stared at me. when we headed to the buffet most of the dishes looked almost gone and not appetizing. my husband asked the Restaurant manager if she knew when the crabs would be out and to that she replied very abruptly that it's coming, coming, coming! so we decided to patronize the hibachi Stir fry where you pick the choice of noodles, meat, eggs and vegetables. my husband was standing and the chef told him wait wait I need to serve the lady whose been waiting for a long time before you. keep your plate and it will take 7 to 8 minutes. so we kept our plates with the food separately and he decides to mix both the plates without asking me if I wanted it to be the same as my husband's plate and choice of sauce. we waited almost an Hour (not exaggerating) to bring the crabs out to find 6 sets of crab legs that me and my brother luckily got. when they brought the crabs out they reserved a plate of Crabs and served it to a couple that did not get food from the buffet. it seemed really strange that they did that when the nature of this business is Self service buffet. my brother went to ask them whether they would bring more crabs out and they said that they are cooking it and they brought out very few crabs that my family took and the tray was over.
we overlooked most of these things pertaining with the food but what we didn't appreciate was the waitress came and placed the Cheque on our table and came back in 2 minutes expecting us to pay immediately. we told her we are still sitting and eating and the restaurant isn't closing anytime soon. she said she has to get the bill paid now and we can sit and eat without worrying. she put us on the spot by pointing to my husband to pay the Bill which we did. she took our card, ran it in the system and came with the receipt to sign and add the tip. Suddenly she is so friendly and asked us where we were from? and she told us that she was from China and said thank you very much twice before my husband could even write the tip. my husband gave her a decent tip and she had trouble understanding the amount and came to clarify with him and he showed her that it was right and then she apologized for not understanding. I don't want to complain too much about the business as I like to support small restaurants that have value for money but Service here is extremely poor and food doesn't seem to get refilled...
Read moreBeen here PLENTY of times before, however, there has always been issues w the owner. Today, we stopped by per usual (every Friday or so) to go eat. We've always eaten the same dishes by order. A little bit of everything. This is where the part comes by play. Waitress is sweet and has nothing to do w this or any of the workers BUT the owner. My dad went to go get some more crab legs because he only got a few on his plate, as there was no good crab legs.. he was then scolded being told that we're gonna be charged more just because we were eating more seafood than everybody else. My dad then left his plate alone because he does not want to be charged more. Mind you, we have always eaten the same way and the same amount for SO long and haven't been told anything of being charged more for seafood. Owner came off rude and wanted us to be charged regardless. My dad looked at the sign where the owner pointed but those prices goes towards people who are getting TAKE OUT. We paid for the general buffet like ALWAYS. Owner has been a problem for everybody and I feel bad for the mistreatment he gives to his employees. I think this will be the last time...
Read moreOk so it's time to write a review about this place...this is the worst Chinese place I've ever eaten at... I was eating general tso's from here about a year ago and bit down on a piece of chicken and felt something sharp go through the palate...it was a bone and it cut my palate very good as is was bleeding uncontrollably...I figured it was an isolated incident but did bring it to the mangers attention..I haven't returned until tonight when my children begged to go have Chinese..so we went not even 3 bites into my general tso's chicken once again I bit into a bone this time it broke and i swallowed it again i brought it to the managers attention and she told me that chicken is supposed to have bones and continued that it's not like chicken nuggets it's like fried chicken and quickly rushed the plate away before i could get a picture ...I don't know ANY other general tso's that had bones and we will not be returning I suggest not eating here but if you must please don't take children or aging adults as they might have difficulty choking down bones! I would rate this 0 but it doesn't have...
