Bibo's Cafe — Restaurant in Texas

wow! my bf and I are big on trying new restaurants! but this restaurant is just excellent! great appearance, excellent food and great service! We were please! and the price is not bad at all but the food quality is just amazing!! we visited today Nov 17th right before lunch time by the time we left there was people waiting to be seated!!! We recommend... Update: the food continues to be good. The only bad thing is the service. I visit the restaurant today and brought 2 family members for the 1st time. I requested a Thai Tea with Tapioca, when it was brought to the table, the cup was hot to the touch, I mentioned to the waitress that it needed ice. She took it and added more ice but there was not much difference. I have try the tai tea here several times and never it has been hot, It has always been a refreshement to me. When I told the girl, this is not how its made, she advise that the smooties are the only one cold. I told her, I didn't like it to what she answered "what do you want me to do about it?" And welp. I just replied that I wanted her to take it back. She could have offer to remake but didnt. The restaurant needs to train their staff better on making the drink and on their customer...

First time with a coworker and his wife and the experience was flat out terrible. For starters I overheard another table ask "What would you recommend?" The server responded with an array of different chicken dishes. Well I should of put two and two together, but decided upon a chicken and shrimp curry dish. An amateur made this dish, nothing worth near $15, and the chicken had an old tainted taste to it. No big deal, yet... Well my coworkers wives dish was returned to the kitchen because of the beef being uncooked, literally rare, not even medium rare. Upon request for our bill we noticed the amount was a little on the high side. Questioning the amount we noticed we were charged twice for her beef dish. The owner refused to return the dish saying "Well she ate all the beef and returned it with only three pieces." Just a quick business tip: The customer is always right, especially in the food industry. Because of this, I personally will never eat at this establishment ever again and they lost my coworkers and wives business as well. The owner is a racist. I have visited this establishment several times but tonight was the last time. From the time we walked in until the time we left, the owner treated us differently. When we first walked in, he told us where to sit, did not speak and was not friendly. Everyone after us got to choose were to sit and was welcomed with a, "hello or welcome " very loudly. We got nothing but sit here. As other ppl were leaving, the manager screamed , "bye, thank you for coming "...us, NOTHING. The entire time I sat there it bothered me. I walked to my car and decided I should let him know how I felt. I walked back in and told him how I felt, and his excuse was he was with a customer when I witness him interact with customers in front of him as well as customers coming in and leaving. On top of all of that, the crab rolls were room temp, the noodles were cold, the rice was gummi and the wings had minimal sauce. I never complained not once. I paid my tab...waste of $35. I will not step back in this place, EVER! If you are African American, don't go; you are not welcome. Its sad you that you ard treated differently because of the color of your skin. God...
