UPDATE: As a Business owner you shouldn’t tell people of color they are using the race card. It actually makes the entire situation worse.

Horrible service & RACIST. Stay far away if you are black woman trying to dine alone. I was just told by a gentleman to basically get up and move after one gentleman told me to go and sit anywhere. Tai then came to my table and told me I need to get up that I was a table for 6. Which I was not I was a 2 top next to 4 top table. There were many other tables in the restaurant to place large parties. Tay just wanted to be rude, racist and very nasty. Daniel who was supposedly the “manager” did nothing to try to rectify the situation. I have eaten at this establishment before many time. Now I will make it a point to let others knows the racism I just experienced Also when I mentioned it do Daniel he acted as if he didn’t care. The picture below shows the amount of tables that were available for LARGE PARTIES

ANOTHER UPDATE: To owners poor excuse and response:” both staff members you referenced — Tai and Daniel — are from diverse backgrounds themselves. One is Asian, and the other is Mexican.” I’m sorry that you feel Asian/Mexican backgrounds cannot be racist. I see that your staff and the way they treat black women is a reflection how you think that it’s ok to do so. You mentioned that I set at a large top. And the “church crowd” I CHOSE TO SET AT a two top you could have trained your staff to separate. I did not sit at 4 tops that are shown in the picture. I see that you are combative & a person of color that likes to spew racism to other people. Especially when you just told a black person they are using the race card. I hope you understand better how racism, micro aggressions and gas lighting works. Since you are displaying...

I have to say that I have been here many times and overheard another table ask a waitress with shoulder length brown hair and glasses for some water at 9:03pm and the waitress had the nerve to tell him loudly across the room that she could not refill his water as they are now closed and she ranted off the close times and said refilling their water would just make them stay and talked to him and the other customer like they were dirt. I was not even the person that she talked to and I was offended by her comments. I think they need to review this on camera. Happened on 8/29 at about 9:03 p.m. and I was horrified as a customer on what a poor response this is. I hire for people in the service industry and I’d never hire this woman. Unbelievable how poor her response was and there were two other occupied tables aside from theirs that could hear her yell this out loudly across the restaurant. If you are the owner of this business and you are reading this, you may want to review the camera footage and reevaluate this employee’s performance on how she handled this situation. If not, you are losing business and it certainly turned me off from coming back again.

*I am adding to this review as shortly after this I had a call with the owner as I went home and my credit card statement showed that they turned my $5 tip into $50. I could not believe it. Yes, you heard that correctly. The owner started giving me some sob story about the waitress when she was acting shady and refunded me the difference.

Shockingly enough, I read further down on the reviews and another customer under the name of Travis Chamberlain experienced the same thing where he was charged excessively for tips he didn’t leave. If you eat here, I suggest you check your credit card bills...

I'm super frustrated. Veggie spring roll it suppose to be not the deep fried unknown thing. It suppose to be shrimp roll with veggies. Whatever you call "spring roll" is the egg roll. Disappointed with first visit. After I tried papaya salad ... Going to the 1 star. If you don't know, dear owners, - papaya salad u suppose to grind in the mortar. adding one and other ingredients. Papaya salad is not just the mix of everything.

p.s. I'm glad my review finally got your attention and I hope you will change for the better. Thnx for letting me know how to read your menu and thnx for teaching me basic things. That's why I gonna keep my one star for you . Instead of "sorry, we gonna add pictures to our menu to avoid confusions" you just decided to blame me. Where did you see half of papaya salad served with cabbage? But lucky for you, my half eaten salad still in the fridge. I'll share photos right now. Check your nuts, green beans and thai chilli pepper! Pepper should be pestled in a mortar with garlic, and then palm sugar should be added. After you do that, - you will not find chilli pepper half of the finger size. Check the green beans, you never pestedled them, also tomatoes on top of salad were just cut in 3-4 pieces. I hope you will bankrupt, honestly, guys. With such an attitude not sure why people are coming back to you. I had thai boyfriend who was born in Thailand and worked as a cook in Houston. I know how to make papaya salad. I learned from him and from youtube. But you are rude and unprofessional money makers. You either CHANGE or leave the restaurant business. Even in recently opened Thaicoon chinese/vienamese owned business papaya salad is way...

This place is AMAZING!!!! Absolutely beautiful ambiance, fantastic warm and friendly service, and the FOOOOOOD!!! OMGahhh! I started with the jasmine green tea which was so fragrant and perfectly delicious and served in a french press. My waitress Sandy recommended it and it was spot on! For my meal I chose a "cup" of the Tom Kha soup with chicken. HOT, delicious and a huge portion that was really a bowl and not a cup just loaded with meat and mushrooms. So good!!! But the entreé, holy moly!!! I ordered the Massaman curry with chicken, which I have eaten at many Thai restaurants. This was hands down, the BEST curry I have ever tasted. The flavors were really out of this WORLD. Just the right level of heat for me, at medium, with a little sweetness. Big chunks of falling apart potato, still a little crisp carrots, onions, and tender and juicy chicken, with the crunch of peanuts. Plus it was served in this beautiful brass dish. It's impossible to say enough positive things about this place! I cannot wait to return again and again!!! And I am so glad they are here in this part of town that has such a shortage of restaurants like this. Oh, I can't end without mentioning the other waiter on duty, Jacob, who stopped by my table to check on me even though he wasn't even my server. SO friendly and professional and very very welcoming. Truly an experience like no other! Thank you!!!
