Came through just before 6pm on 28. Sept. 2022, and I have to say, this is one of the least pleasant Burger Kings to go to.
The lobby door was locked when we got there, and not an employee in sight. Okay, short staffed; I get it. I've been in foodservice for almost 20 years and I've been on the other end of this, so no worries or hard feelings. I considered just leaving then, but my partner and I didn't have time to drive 30 minutes to the next BK on Rayford. So we decided to go to the drive thru.
The response was prompt, if a bit annoyed at our presence. He seemed really intent on being finished with our order. I understand the employees are graded on time, but it's not necessary or helpful to be rude because of it. Our order was fairly straightforward, and we didn't take long.
At the window, the man was just as aggravated as before. He was especially upset when I asked for no ice in my drink, despite me repeating it at least three times before at the menu board. I tried being extra nice because I know what it's like to be expected to meet time goals with only two or three people, but he just said "whatever." After handing my card back, he disappeared again. I didn't time it, but it was a lot longer than most fast food places make us wait. At least our food was hot when he finally returned.
The food itself was...okay. Fries were nice and hot, although the patties in my burger were overcooked. Lettuce was yellow and wilted. My partner said theirs wasn't very good either, and they felt queasy after eating. It was disappointing.
All in all, not a great experience. Store looks nice on the outside, but that's where it ends. Maybe if the franchise owner offered better pay and benefits they could have some nice employees that do good work. Until then, going to steer clear of this location and stick to the...
   Read moreI come to this location around 11:10 at night after work. It's a newer store model. Very nice. Very clean. I go through the drive-thru she cannot understand me. That's very understandable. I have to speak a little bit louder. I'm asking her questions and she just seems kind of irritated by every question I ask, I asked what type of shakes they have just because it wasn't shown on a menu. It flips through different menu items on the screen. She says the shake machine is down at the moment. Understandable. You're probably cleaning it or just doesn't work. Then I asked her what type of juices do they have or do they have Gatorade? She States that they only have lemonade okay so I asked for water. Then I asked her for chicken fingers but then she goes silent. She doesn't say anything then she says what else I go. Oh man the chicken finger is and then because okay eight piece like very aggressively I say oh do you have any other things smaller? Give me that and then I said that's all and then she just pull up for the total I pull up. First off, she's trying to give me the drink without me even paying and she kind of shoves the drink in my hand. While I'm trying to give her the money, she doesn't hand me my receipt with my change back. She stuffs the receipt and crumble up some napkins inside my bag. That's very weird and not like what you're supposed to do at all. And I couldn't understand her clearly hear what she was saying. She just kind of seemed irritated. Got order wrong 2 times! First time was after I had made it home, so my bad for not checking and expecting to get what I asked for. But the second time was in store after I went back amd they messed up again. Apparently being frustrated after that and slowly saying "double cheeseburger with cheese and meat only" without saying please pissed off Mr. Watson B the manager and he told the cook to not make the burger. So I asked for a refund as he tries to lecture me like I just messed up an order twice or somethin...so he finally says ok after a buttload of attitude and self righteousness and disappears for 10 mins so I ask the cashier whats going on and he comes out and starts arguing about how hes gonna do it on his time and after some back and forth refuses the refund altogether after taking back my wrong order. So now I'm out $11 dollars and food so I ask if he just plans on stealing my money and he says take it up with corporate. Uh..no you just stole my money! So I had to call the non emergency police line and wait for a responding officer to waste their time to make Watson give me a refund. He reluctantly tells the officer ok and disappears for another 5 mins(2 seconds to charge a card though....) before he gave me my refund and I could finally leave that god...
