Creole Flava (Food Truck) Restaurant — Restaurant in Sugar Land

I came here about 30 minutes before they closed and the guy at the window was just genuinely kind and had a smile on his face. They got me set up with oxtails, rice and gravy, yams, and collard greens. I'm from Louisiana, I also just so happen to be a Creole mami and I must say I was very impressed!!! The oxtails tasted like my mama's, that ole chicken beef bouillon cube; every seasoning in the cabinet crock pot meat that I absolutely love. I was skeptical about the collards but they delivered as well, very fresh and well seasoned with hints of spiciness which was unique to me and pleasant because i love a mild kick at the end of something, you can never go wrong with that. The rice soaked up the gravy very well so that was great too, no drippy mess, and the yams were sweet and delicious. I will be coming back, I really enjoyed everything!!...

I’ve really been looking for some good soul food since I moved to Houston. Every time I get excited… anywho the lady was very nice. The food was not nasty it just wasn’t wonderful either. My complaint really is the prices. I’m not opposed to PAYING whatever for GOOD food because I will enjoy it. But listen 🎧 was charged 7.99 for cake. That was allegedly homemade… now I’m not a baker but I know cake . This is not homemade. And y’all should be ashamed for charging 7.99 mins you the sign said 4.95. I was also charged 6.99 for a 3oz red beans and rice … really?? On top of it all I had to go back because it was missing… lastly… the $38.00 I paid for the food seemed still a lot… I was charged for ox tails when I ordered and was given chicken… I tried!! Every time I order on Uber eats it’s always a problem they always forget items. Like I pay for my stuff I want it. Ordered fish dinner got just rice and my side. Shit too high to not receive my stuff I don’t mind supporting but after 3x I’m cool……

I did call no answer vm & I came up there the next two days with the food to bring it back but I did not look at y’all’s hours to see that you were closed until after I called again and texted. Even the text I got no response still to this day.. I Did Take Those Actions and more to get into communication with you all. Had I gotten a response you would have known this was happening.
