I agree with previous reviewer, these folks are busy closing the place a full hour before posted closing, and they are not willing to serve anything they might have already cleaned and shut down for the night. We needed to pick up a late quick dinner last night @ 8 PM, as my son had an extracurricular commitment during our normal dinner hour. They didn’t give us straws for our drinks when they handed them to us and asked us to pull up and wait for the order. We had to ask two people that attempted to deliver us other customers orders to bring us straws before we got them. They got our hamburger orders done fine. We went through 3 blizzard requests when placing our order and were told they didn’t have the ingredients to make them, so I finally asked what they did have. We ordered Snickers and Oreo blizzards. They got that wrong, and gave us Snickers and some pink blizzard flavor we could not determine. When I told the male employee about the mix up, he took the mystery blizzard and came back and said the manager said you did not order an Oreo blizzard so they are not gonna make one. I looked at the receipt and sure enough, the order taker had entered M&M rather than Oreo, however we did not receive an M&M blizzard. The guy asked if we would like to speak to a supervisor; yes we said, as we did order two blizzards and now only have one. We waited and waited in front of the drive thru. I finally backed up to the window when the drive thru was clear, explained the situation to the order taker. I said we have been sitting here waiting for the supervisor that the guy now scrubbing the grill went to get. You entered M&M rather than the Oreo we ordered, the guy took the mystery blizzard away to get the supervisor that never came. We have paid for two blizzards and we now only have one. I would like a refund for the blizzard he took, or the Oreo blizzard made. The guy cleaning the grill was glaring at us the whole time, and even my 10 year old said “Mom the way he is looking at us makes me feel like there is no supervisor and he was hoping we’d just drive off”. The order taker made us another blizzard stating it was Oreo, and I could see a few cookie crumbs mixed in, when she handed it to us, so we left. My mother and son both stated that both blizzards we received had very little of the candy or cookie they requested mixed in; they were more of less whipped soft serve with a few crumbs of what they requested mixed in on top. I do not recommend going here within an hour of closing, they do not want to serve customers past 8 PM, every single customer served past us had to pull up and wait also, and I could see several were having the same issue with their order...
Read moreOfficially the worst DQ I've had the misfortune to dine. We've given this location 3 tries and each time it's worse than before. What's that about 3 strikes......
The service is a joke. It's horrible. It took 5 minutes to place an order; although no one was ahead of me for 4 of those minutes. This visit wasn't the exception to that either.
"Fast food?" Nope. It was approx 20 minutes before our food came out. We ordered tacos & 2 kids meals. The taco shells were stale (I didn't even attempt after the 1st bite), no bottoms AT ALL, so they couldn't be picked up (obviously they'd been sitting around awhile) & no cheese. Of course with the stale shells it's a moot point. No napkins. At least there were paper towels - if you asked. Last time we were here they didn't have fountain drinks or napkins readily available. I understand sometimes things break & it's beyond the ability of the establishment, but things such as napkins at a restaurant aren't part of that issue. That's just poor management. Btw, the manager made an excuse of people being late & such for the poor service. I honestly could see that, IF it'd been a one-off thing.
But the biggest thing was there was a roach running across the floor. Last time we dined here (last Nov I think) there was also a roach running around. If they're running around in the light out front I cringe what kitchen/storage are like. Best check the health department cert if you decide to take a chance here. High prices, sub-par service & insects.....🤔🤦🏼♀️
Dairy Queen may be called a "Texas Stop Sign" but in this case you'd be better off...
Read moreSame as the previous review. Absolutely horrible, especially to be a new business. Will continue to go to Sonic. I attempted to place an order through the drive-thru and was highly disappointed. I initially asked about a blizzard that was discontinued, however several other DQ are familiar and will accommodate. Nothing major or requires a brain surgeon. The young lady immediately states they can't do that before I could ask completely. Seconds later, a older lady comes in and state it can be made but it will not have coconut; which is perfect because I typically ask for the tropical blizzard minus coconut. I continued with the order and was asked what type of drink would I like? I stated Sprite. I was then told to pull around. As I arrived to the window, the young lady passed me a mini blizzard spilling over the cup falling onto my hands. No, conversation or small talk. The young lady states the total and that's it. Tattoos all over her arm, skull rings, and everything else that displayed unprofessional. There was another young lady that was assisting her who appeared to have a bad attitude in her approach and demeanor. I asked for a top and they acted as if they didn't want to give me one. I get home to eat my food, I had to place the blizzard in the freezer. Oh, and guess what my drink was a water. Can you say a lack of professionalism and down right carelessness will be the sole reason why this location will not last. If you do choose to go, be prepared for an...
