Golden Chick — Restaurant in Texas

UPDATE. I want to change my rating. I've gone to this location a couple times since my first visit which wasn't very good. Must have just been an off day because my latest visits have been great. Chicken hot and delicious. I still won't pay their price for the tiny pieces of fish though.

I never went to this location before. Previous experience at other locations has been great. Normally they drop the chicken when you order so it's fresh. On this occasion ordered 8 tenders and 2 pieces of catfish. I had no wait. I drove to the pickup window and my order was bagged and ready. Food was barely warm and the 2 pieces of fish were so small and thin... they fit in the palm of my hand. Will never go to this 1960 location again. I will drive out to the Spears Road location. By the way, did the survey from the receipt and gave my complaint there as well. I got an auto-reply email stating they received my complaint and someone would get back to me but no one ever did. Oh - and I'm pretty sure the other Golden Chick locations have a special on tenders on Tuesdays. I asked if there was a special and I was told no. I have gone to this location twice now. My 1st experience was on a Friday night so I knew with my large order there would be a wait. I waited for 40 mins for my food and everyone was parked in cars and then going inside to get their food. When I got my food it was fresh and delicious so I let it go. I went last night ordered the same thing and it took over an hour to get my food. And to be honest I think they completely forgot about my order because I had to give them my reciept for them to make it. Everyone was waiting for their food but they just kept giving out orders until I was the last one. You would think they would try to get the big order out first and then do all the small orders or i dont know they kept running out of stuff and having me wait but giving everyone there food before me. My tenders were good but fried chicken was gross. Roasted chicken delicious. They gave me a free ice cream cone for my troubles and then the manager gave me free rolls. But I paid for 4 extra rolls and they didn't give them to me with my order so that kind of cancelled out. I will go to the one 30mins away before going here again. They still need to figure out...

Every. Single. Time. I order from this Golden Chick I order the spicy chicken tenders meal and Every. Single. Time I receive my order it is plain chicken. I even have paid extra for the lotta zing sauce or have requested lotta zing dry seasoning packets but I never receive what I paid and asked for. As a paying customer if I order an item and am not receiving it, that is very frustrating, but to experience this over and over and over again from the same location is outrageous. Please review the details of the online orders and please provide to customers what they pay for. Also today I ordered a side salad, and the description of this item says it comes with broccoli, which is the only reason I ordered it, but there was not one piece of broccoli in the salad. I love Golden Chick specifically for their uniqueness in the items they offer and I love their spicy chicken but I am not getting what I have been ordering and paying for and it’s really pushing me to stop ordering from this business.
