I have taken my family of 7 here for months and I have never been treated like I was today. My husband went to pay as I got my kids seated. My husband told the lady at the register how many people were eating at the buffet and told the lady the ages of the kids. My little ones are 3, 2 and 10 months old. I've never had to pay for them to eat before...(I've always been told 3 and under are free). My husband proceeds to pay and get food for the kids. As my kids are eating the lady approaches our table and tells my kids they can't eat. I very quickly responded with "excuse me?" The lady very rudely while making a scene proceeded to tell me that my husband didn't pay for them. I told the lady the kids eat free. She stated she just got off the phone with her manager and the manager said we have to charge you for the kids to eat. The lady was so rude and loud that customers at the other tables turned and looked at us as if we had done something wrong. I asked to speak to the manager and was given a phone number on receipt paper. We left the store after getting a refund and I called the manager, who come to find out was the owner. The owner explained that the kids price is a very recent addition. (There was so signage about prices for toddlers anywhere). The owner could only repeat "I'll talk to my worker and I am sorry." ย ย ย Read moreI stopped by this location on 9/17/24 to purchase the 18 piece chicken tenders special. I asked for hot tenders as I had to drive 20 minutes out to Huffman. After arriving home, I noticed that they had given me what appeared to be chicken strips cut into fourths rather than a whole chicken tender. I felt deceived , overcharged and quite frankly angry for being given nuggets passed off as tenders. I called the manager ( Nanda at least thatโs what she said her name was, that may be a lie as well) to let them know about their deceptive practices. That went nowhere as she wanted me to drive from home to return the chicken back.. I can see why Hartz has no business because they have no customer service with tasteless chicken and unprofessional people working at this particular location. I will be returning their chicken to them tomorrow and expecting my full refund. BEWARE.. do not go to this location.. you have been warned!! Terrible food, awful manager with no customer service. ย ย ย Read moreEverything had been sitting there for a while without being stired or replaced, rolls were gummy from the moisture built up in the pan.the beans were dry she thought the solution was to add a few more beans to them was the answer,you always have to ask for more chicken and they add 1 or 2 at a time.the temperature of the food is pitiful.I always give a second chance before I give up on a diner but this place needs a major do over,let's start with a new staff that has ๐ on the food and not chatting and lol, and clean them nasty floors, mop after closing, get a fresh smell instead of dirty oil.If your ice cream machine is broken, at least put a tag on it so people don't get chocolate splitting on your clothes..how hard is it to make fried chicken so it's not tough, or is that from sitting to long.
