Do not ever go to JJ's. I've been coming to this place as a loyal and kind patron. I was even getting ready to be hosting APA here. Shortly before being able to do so, I had a Priceless meaningful items stolen from me by another patron of the bar. I tried to ask the bartender for help. She directed me to someone else who wasn't even on the clock. When I asked them for help. Ask Rachel for help. They said they would ask the individual if they knew what happened to it. Instead of doing any such thing, she went outside on the porch to smoke a blunt or some kind of weed with a customer. Unfortunately this item was held very dear to me. With no one else helping, I had to ask this person myself. I was not happy about it because I knew it would start an issue. This is why I told them if they would be able to help me. When the guy became condescending and rude, and talking down to me. I tried to request he stopped talking to me in that manner cuz I was coming at him politely. Before I could get the words out he cut me off and said something else. The bartender came over and closed me out and said I had to leave. Also keep in mind, this was during playing a pool game with this gentleman. As I was trying to look for the item I could not find. He claimed three times without me questioning him that he did not steal it. Even further making me believe that it was stolen by him why would someone feel the need to say they did not steal something if you didn't even question them about it at all. And then get a really bad attitude when I asked if they knew where it went so I could find it. I would never want anyone to come here after seeing that they cherish thieves over loyal patrons. This guy is from out of state and is probably not going to be back for years to come, but they stood by his side instead of a loyal paying customer. Do not waste your time here if you cherish your peace of mind and...
Read more8/2024: It's a shame that Debbie the bartender is so rude, because I really like going here for Wednesday night karaoke. Two nights ago she bumped into me as she was getting beers out of the cooler, and then snapped that I shouldn't sit in the seat I was in. Why is there a barstool there if y'all don't want anyone sitting in it?! Just an insufferable woman with a horrible attitude. She was acting like that all night, despite my being super-sweet to her and tipping her over 50%. The barstool thing was the last straw, and motivated me to say my goodbyes to Nancy, Paul, Daryl, and hit the road. It's too bad, because the regulars and J. Stover the KJ are super-cool. It's hard to spend my hard-earned money somewhere that I don't feel welcome...learn some people skills, Debbie.
Popped in here tonight (Wednesday) on my way home from work because I heard Debbie was gone. $8.66 for a Lone Star and a TINY shot of well tequila is not that good. That same tab would cost only $6.50 at Mugshots (11 minutes away) and the people are nicer there. Do...
