It pains me to do this, but we have been customers of this establishment since they opened. Over the past maybe 5 years the service has gone downhill. Employees are rude and speak barely above a whisper when they know the machines are loud and the plexiglass is in the way, but when you ask them (politely) to repeat themselves they get an attitude. Maybe they’re grumpy because it’s so hot in there. That’s why I never made a big deal about the attitudes before, but the ladies that were there pre-COVID were always friendly and polite. We still continued to patronize the establishment since the food was still good, but over the last couple of years the quality has diminished. And it’s only this location because I’ve been to others and not had this experience. Yesterday was the last straw. The rice was dry and hard and the beans was mostly soup. The chicken wasn’t cut properly and it was a mess. The red salsa had no flavor, just spicy. I understand pricing changes, but for that price I’ll go farther to another location, but I won’t step foot...

Las personas que manejan este establecimiento tienen mucha cortesía y amabilidad. Siempre iremos a La Reyna Tortillería!
This tortilleria has never failed my family and I! If we have a large order, they ALWAYS have it ready on time without any issues. The tortillas and food are ALWAYS fresh! The people who run this establishment are very courteous and amicable. We will always go to La Reyna Tortilleria!
PS - some people need to understand the concept of tortillerias. One does not go there to sit down and eat, rather you get your tortillas and food and go about your day. Please take the time to understand the concept of the establishment rather than expect every business to...
Read moreI went to look for the wonderful taste of food this place has on Kenpwood; I couldn't be more wrong. Customer service was awful, the lady with glasses who served my food didn't want to give me a cup of salsa verde; she said it was only for chicken. She placed one of the barbacoa pounds over my precious Menudo... Which didn't make it home, as you can see. My craving for Menudo was big so I took away the plastic and tried to eat what was left, I shouldn't have done this... My deception was confirmed when I tasted the caldo, it was very salty and the meat was not tender at all... That's why I give this place a one-star... Next time, I'll drive 30 minutes to go at Kempwood. Btw, I got 2 pounds of barbacoa & small menudo; hopefully, the tortillas de Harina keep the good taste as...
