Laredo Taco Company — Restaurant in Texas

This is painful to post because I LOVE Laredo Taco Co... but this was BY FAR the WORST food; an embarrassment to Tex-Mex food everywhere at best. The 1 star is for my friend & NOT this location!

I don’t usually leave negative feedback. Besides being an optimist, I understand the impact of reviews as well as the spectrum of mishaps. That being said...

About an hour ago, I had my friend stop & pick up a carnita taco plate and a carne guisada taco plate for me at this location... for starters, they made a dinner plate instead of a taco plate which is no surprise... most locations I’ve been to do this & if I call in to exchange my order, they get testy & claim I’m wrong & they are right so I gave up on that one a long time ago... but THIS is down right the WORST food I’ve ever had anywhere. Every bit of both plates are dry to an extreme, it all has an odd after taste and the tortillas are rock bottom cheap bought tortillas... NOT the LTC signature handmade tortillas. This food was so bad we can’t eat it. I want my money back or a replacement from a different location but hesitate to call given my friend reported the sales person was rude. They didn’t even give her a receipt. I won’t order from here again... should’ve stuck w/...

The food was very obviously old. Very greasy and of poor quality. Not at all up to the usual standards of Laredo Taco Co. What WAS the same, of all my experiences with every location I have visited from across the state is the HORRIBLE staff! Not onve have I ever visited a location where the person serving me speaks english. They literally only hire spanish speakers who seem to have a universal hatred toward english speakers. I would highly recommend you NOT waste your money or time here. The food will get you sick for lack of temperature control and flies were all over the food. Will never go there for a taco… the lady at the register greeted with an awesome smile but the one at the Taco Bar had the most grumpy face ever seen and most uncourteous individual ever seen. Was hard to get a response out to know if she had no meat tacos for my wife.. walked away without having anything… the management should hire people who are happy and full of zest.
