Saturday was probably the worst McDonald's experience I've had in a long time. We ordered through the app, got our receipt at drive through, they gave our order to someone else, the first guy at the window then declared that "you must have messed up your order online because we don't have it". When I showed him the receipt his response was "I don't know what to tell you" and walked away. I asked for a manager when he came back, the manager seemed legitimately confused as to how to respond. I went around and inside the store. There were multiple door dash orders with no receipts on them, orders to the wrong people, mistakes in the orders it was chaos. When I asked the manager if there was a store manager present he said no, he didn't know who that was. I had to guide him step by step through what would be a good response to my situation. It then took another 20 minutes to get our order. Total time at this location was 38 minutes for some nuggets, fries and a chicken sandwich. This McDonald's is so flipping awful, that it TRULY deserves a NEGATIVE five stars! First, the evening manager is absolutely just plain rude! The woman wouldn't even return a simple smile nor even decent customer service. Second, I came in to pick up an Uber Eats delivery order, only to find out upon arrival that the order had not even been started! 😡 Apparently, this particular McDonald's will ONLY start a pickup order (which a customer has already paid for) AFTER the delivery driver has arrived at the store to pick it up. I asked the employee why they would do this when SEVERAL other McDonald's in a 10-15 mile radus had always had the order ready when I arrived. This makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO SENSE! I drove through the drive thru and neither intercom was working after waiting a few minutes in each. I decided to drive to the window and let them know what was going on. The guy in the first window didn’t see me as he was on the phone and the manager (Riley) on the second window said she couldn’t take my order that they were understaffed and didn’t have a register to take my order. I asked what I could do. She replied that she couldn’t take my order there and I would have to go back around because the person at the first window was the only one to take my order but he was on leaning on the counter on the phone!!! A manager should be a problem solver. I understand things like this happen but there’s solutions in ways to handle. I will never go back to this McDonald’s because of Riley’s “management” service.
