I actually loved this GameStop and have been a faithful customer for a long time it has always been cool service and actually better than the humble location I bought my âseries Xâ here and have been coming here ever since âŚ.BUT today I called in to see if I can purchase a gift card using Apple Pay âŚI know stores like Home Depot and Walmart have not started to use Apple Pay so I wanted to goto game stop but before I went I decided to call to make sure they accept Apple Pay and turns out they do so I asked the gentleman if it was okay that I use Apple Pay to purchase a gift card and he told me I couldnât because itâs game stop policy he said I quoteâ You canât use Apple Pay my system wonât let me , because people use Apple Pay to buy gift cards for free???????! Didnât know what that meant so I asked what do you mean for free? He stated that people use âFAKE CARDSâ put them in there Apple wallet to purchase gift cards ?!?! How is that even possible ?? I donât know his name but heâs the only ginger head with glasses that works there slim dude I donât mean that in any disrespectâŚ.so I went to a GameStop in Conroe the gentleman there let me purchase it with no problems âŚ.itâs funny how the first guy said the system wonât let himâŚ.itâs not fair to treat your customers like scammers!!!? I offered to show I.D. And my card in my apple wallet and he just wouldnât do itâŚ..I understand the world we live in today is a little wild but you canât treat everyone like scammers man people live real lives out here and not everyone is out to SCAM GAMESTOP?! Something needs to be done someone should clarify this for me either the Conroe location was wrong and he was right or he was wrongâŚ.and rude either way I really needed that Visa card it was very urgent !    Read moreMy wife bought us a refurbished Xbox one from this location. Get it home and updated only to find out after the hour spent updating that the controller would stick. Try to call up there only for it to ring and tell you that they were helping other customers and it would disconnect you. We arrive there and see there was only one other person in the store with two employees working the registers. So sitting in the car outside I try to call again and again no one answered the phone. Go inside and come to find out the customer inside was another employee up there on his free time talking with the other employees. So whatever. Talk to them and told what the issue is they see and say âoh this shouldnât have been packaged up with a bad controllerâ. So they start checking and say they didnât have any controllers to replace it with and I would have to go to another store. This is right before they closed so I would have wait until the next day to take care of this. I look around and see many more controllers for sale and I ask them about one of them and they said they couldnât replace it with one of those even thou they were same ones. After that I just went ahead and got my money back went across the street to Walmart and bought a brand new better model one with a game for the same price. I have no problem with game stop but this one seemed to be one of the worst ones Iâve seen. No organization of products, mechandise all over place not put with right stuff. But the employees who did as little as possible to help us were about as bad as you could get. Wouldnât recommend...
   Read moreI donât mind going to GameStop but this is the worst store Iâve ever been to. The manager, Michael I think, is an unprofessional jerk with a bad attitude. Pointed at my wife and family while screaming and making a scene that he was going to call the cops on us after my little brother got upset, and said âthis is ridiculousâ under his breath after Michael had treated us unfairly. The store was calm and we were already leaving, but Michael had to make his point and scream at us from across the store while other customers were just in line staring. After he threw us out, my sister in law stayed in line to buy something. He went on to say to his employees that they were going to fight us, and that there was more of them than us?? So dumb and immature. When it was my sis in law turn to pay, she even confronted and apologized for us, but Michael didnât want any part of it, he even took off his name tag so we wouldnât know his name.... this was a horrible and humiliating experience for my family and I. We all couldnât believe what had happened. Michael is an angry and sad person and should not be working there. Avoid this GameStop and just drive a little further to another store where you know you will be treated with respect...
