I recently revisited this food truck after a long absence, eager to recapture the excellence I remembered. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
Our group ordered two special hotdogs ($9 each) and I opted for the special arepa ($13), accompanied by mango juices and a Colombian soda, totaling $44. While price wasn't the primary concern, the quality didn't justify the cost.
The hotdogs were underwhelming, lacking the flavor and value promised. My arepa, however, was the major letdown. Instead of authentic ingredients, it came with a small, tasteless hamburger patty – a disappointing substitution.
What remained consistent was the attentive and excellent service.
As a loyal customer from years past, I recall the love and care invested in the food. Last night's experience didn't replicate that magic.
Suggestions for improvement:
Revise menu pricing to reflect quality and portion sizes. Revisit ingredient sourcing, especially for signature items like the arepa. Rekindle the passion and attention to detail that once made this food truck shine.

Read moreI've eaten here before and it was ok... It took a while but it was fine. Tonight it was totally disappointing, the service from the server and the vibe I got was not nice right off the bat, but I was ok with that was just taking a burger and and arepa to go, the server took my order but again another disappointment they don't sell empanadas 😲 wait... What? Lol I was AGAIN ok with that, after waiting for more than 30 minutes I come back and the server greets me AGAIN asking me if he could help me with something, I was again disappointed and little upset because to my surprise the haven't even started on my order! Of course they had it ready like in 3 minutes but again another disappointment, I payed for jalapeños and of course didn't get them...... I don't think I'm coming back to this food truck again and the burger...
Read morePrepare yourself for the best food coma. Best burger I have ever had. Hand made and seasoned to perfection. Juicy and not greasy. Melted cheese that pulls for all those instagram pics. Homemade sauces (pineapple, basil, garlic and a combination of all 3) that are placed on the side to add on top which add a whole other level to the perfection of these burgers. I am not a fan of coleslaw but that slaw is like no other, placed on top of sweet delicious ripe green tomatoes (instead of traditional red), a slice of bacon and fried string potatoes for the crunch and you have the perfect burger, their famous El Special. Add some sautéed onions and jalapeños and you are in heaven. Quench your thirst with one of the many fruit juices/milkshakes. The adorable host/waiter was super helpful.
10/10...
