P&P Desserts and Coffee — Restaurant in Texas

The atmosphere is clean and clearly going for a certain Instagram aesthetic even in how the food looks. But that's about where the appeal ended. The first of my concerns started with the lady at the register. She knew nothing about anything they sold. We had never been here before and she answered zero questions. Learn your menu or don't come into work tbh. It was embarrassing. The dessert left a lot to be desired. The creme brulee was bland. It relied too heavily on the thick sugar crust and more berries probably would have made it more appealing for the price. The chocolate berry mousse was cute but the cake was dry and the chocolate shell was frustratingly thick. Nearly impossible to get through with the spoon. The best item was the coffee but only because it was at least decent compared to the lackluster desserts. Still over rated. Maybe we could've found something more appealing if the lady behind the register actually knew what they sold but that's in the past. I don't think I'll return when All the Crave Cheesecake is in walking distance of this place. This place felt purely for people to add to their socials. There are better desserts nearby for better prices. Literally heard someone post theirs to tik Tok, take two sips, and leave with their full cups still on the table....

We stumbled upon this while trying out a restaurant in the same shopping center. I saw that this dessert shop had 68 reviews and a 5.0 rating. I've never seen this before. In the world we live in...someone always finds fault in something. I had to see what this place had to offer. I can't believe how amazing this experience was. The inside was fresh and inviting. The owner took the time to describe in detail every dessert available. It was evident that this guy took pride in what he was creating. And creations were what each dessert was. We got the most delicious coffee and completely over the top desserts. My hubby had the Snicker dessert, and I had the strawberry tres leches. The presentation was pampering and posh. My hubby is a man of few words, but with every bite he took, he commented on the deliciousness of his dessert. He kept saying how unbelievably good it was. It was fun to watch him enjoy it so much. This place is tucked away in a strip center. Though a little small it is very unique and exceeded my initial expectations. The Colombian and Peruvian coffee and espresso options were hard hitting. Strong bold delicious options for hot and cold drinks. Extremely good. The desserts were incredible. Each individual dessert is expertly crafted with top tier uniformity and they look amazing. They look so good you almost hate taking the first bite because of how well it is made. Smaller sizes but very sweet and incredibly made with refined flavor profiles and ingredients. Definitely a 2 person split dessert or save some for later. If you have the chance to take your coffee / espresso and dessert in house the presentation of everything is way above other independent large or small coffee shops. Both the drinks and desserts are presented above par. I personally enjoy sitting inside rather than taking out. Customer service...
