Timeout #4 — Restaurant in Texas

Left a hoodie behind one night and forgot we left it there, we came back a week or so later and saw the server wearing it so we confronted her and she said it was ours and asked if she could wear it till we left. When we asked for it back when we were leaving she claimed she didn’t have anything on underneath and needed to keep it, which was confusing because she was willing to give it back earlier in the evening. After we successfully retrieve the hoodie and go to pay out the bartender then begins to claim that the hoodie was hers and she gave it to the girl from her closet. Trying to help the girl steal our hoodie. We then had a small argument in which the bartender basically just gave up on and we left. This was a very expensive hoodie and if the bartender really did buy it like she said she wouldn’t have given it up so easily. Be careful here. They hire thieves and if you arent careful they will steal from you. The bartender had green hair and was white. The server was a very thin black girl. If you're looking to feel safe and accepted - Just what you hope to find in a neighborhood sports bar. Friendly and efficient servers and a great group of people meeting to enjoy the sports playing on a number of well situated televisions. Unfortunately, the food I had was pretty bland and just not quite there. I had a blue cheese burger and waffle fries. Waffle fries were slightly undercooked and flavorless and the blue cheese on the burger was either really poor quality or just not there as no blue cheese flavor was detectable. Susan's BLT was served on limp barely browned bread with under ripened tomatoes and the bacon, while plentiful, was not crisp and was very chewy. The accompanying onion rings, again undercooked and little flavor. I’ve come in here for the past 5 years. Never complained when they took away the nachos/cheese. Censored the music and took off a lot of rap for a while. Seems like the music isn’t as loud as it used to be either. My only solace was i could vape in here, now it’s being told can’t do that any more I’m at the point i could go to Scotty’s down the road

Update 12/12/23 Will never be back to this establishment. I used to a take a speaker in there and play music in the back patio when their speakers were not working. Whilst there on 12/8/23 the manager told me to put my speaker up so i obliged. Decided i would play music on the juke box. After they got tired of music in spanish they proceeded to skip 36 songs i had paid to hear, with no speaking of reimbursement of the money i had spent.basically taking it as a loss and deal with it.
