I had a very unpleasant experience with a certain staff member here who, essentially, denied me my paid for food and yelled at me. I had to get it myself and walk out as she literally screamed at me to sign a receipt.
I have a new phone and haven’t memorized the number yet. The young lady requested my phone number to identify my order. I explained to her my situation and informed her that I had supplied my name when I called in the order and then I told her what items I had ordered so she could identify my food. She refused to help me out and cooperate with me and empathize with my situation and basically stated that without my phone number I was SOL and wouldn’t be getting my food.
So I went out to the parking lot to retrieve my phone to supply my number and even then, she still denied me my food. She grabbed the receipt and demanded that I sign it before getting my food. By this time, I’m annoyed definitely not leaving a tip. I had to grab the food and get it myself and left with her voice yelling at me the entire time to “SIGN THE RECEIPT!!”
Almost ruined the entire meal with such a...
Read moreI placed an online order. (I didn't want to get out in the rain) I was .20 shy of the $15 minimum order required to have food delivered, so I added an additional appetizer that I planned to share with my office, and provided a 15% tip. I am 2 days from a paycheck so the 15% tip on a $20, was $1.90. I got a phone call from the restaurant and the gentleman on the other line asked if I was going to tip the driver? I told him I already had. I was in the industry fro many years in my younger days. First, a TIP is given to a server, delivery driver... when they provide good service not just because they work in a industry where tips are EXPECTED now a days. I spent many years in F&B, I prefer to only add a minimal tip if someone is delivering my food, and then when the food is delivered I tip the server, delivery driver in cash because I appreciate the job they do. This also keeps Uncle Sam and greedy, selfish owners out of the server/drivers pocket. I don't think...
Read moreMake sure you check that you have all of your food before you leave. My mother ordered many items while at the restaurant and waited for her food. The woman came out with one bag and handed it to her. My mom is kicking herself for trusting that it was all there because when she and my dad got home, they noticed TWO things missing from their order.
She called the restaurant, and the woman on the phone said she'd review the footage. She called back and basically called my mom a liar because she insisted she packed it herself, like that magically made the food my mom was missing appear. Just be careful and make sure you have everything before you leave. We won't be returning. Gaslighting paying customers and calling them liars doesn't make for honest business, in my...
