Subway — Restaurant in Texas

Sure seems like I’ve been writing a lot of bad reviews lately but I have to be honest. It’s almost as if customer service went away when COVID hit. But anyway, check out the picture. If you see this guys working when you walk in, turn around and walk back out. I walked into the store and the only two people there were him and me. He was working on 3 sandwiches when I walked in and asked if I was picking up and online order. I told him no and he said he’d get to me after the sandwiches he was working on were done. I decided to walk to door down to get some boba for the kids to give him time to take care of that. So I did that, got the boba drinks, came back to subway, and now there was another lady in the store waiting and he was still working on 3 sandwiches. So I stood and watched for 5 minutes as he looked at the ticket, placed the lettuce. Looked at the ticket, placed the tomato. Looked at the ticket, placed to pickle. Looked at the ticket, placed the onion. The lady and I are looking at each other like what the… she decided to take a seat. I decided I’d run the boba drinks home since I live across the street, come back and hopefully the guy will be done making the three sandwiches. I make the run, come back, he’s confine ring the sandwiches… looked at the ticket, add the vinegar, looked at the ticket, added the chipotle sauce, looked at the ticket, added the ranch. The lady that was sitting is standing now tapping her toes. There was another young lady that showed up and she stood at the counter with her phone out. The guy finally got around to wrapping the sandwiches and the toe tapping lady said, “I’m out of here. I’m going to Jersey Mike’s”. 30 minutes later after I walked in initially, he finished wrapping the 3 sandwiches and handed them to the young lady that stood at the counter with her phone. My turn right? Nope… the guy said he had to make 3 more sandwiches for the online order and at the rate he was making them, one pickle at a time, I would have been waiting another 30 mins. No thank you. I got out of there and went to Jersey...

Ordered from them again on DoorDash because i needed something fast and healthy that would cater to my needs (high protein, 1800 daily cal intake limitations.) So I ordered an italian BMT sandwich on flatbread, wanted it toasted; baked lays, a churro sidekick to share with my mom and a vitamin water. Simple right? apparently it wasn’t simple enough and it’s clear that the guy that people have previously had in their reviews make their sandwich more than likely made mine. 1.) I didn’t get flatbread, and instead got white bread + my sandwich wasn’t toasted. Seriously? how lazy do you have to be? 2.) i asked for baked lays because they have a lower cal. count than regular, dude gave me regular. seriously?

3.) and this is the second time i’ve had an issue with the churro sidekick not being in stock. If it’s not in stock, maybe mark it as OOS on your menu so people won’t mistake it thinking it’s not in stock but really, I feel like he’s lazy and doesn’t wanna make it. Last time I ordered it was 2 months ago and he argued with me on the phone about it and clearly didn’t wanna come to terms with solving an issue and instead made doordash cancel my entire order that one time.

this place wouldn’t be as bad if y’all maybe fired that kid but that’s just me. Stop hiring lazy workers that clearly don’t wanna work. I understand the food service industry sucks and that it’s not everyone’s job and they don’t want to deal with angry customers, but also don’t apply if you think you’re gonna sit around all day...

I come to this subway pretty often . As a pregnant woman I get a lot of veggie intake eating here . However today my sandwich was made carelessly when I asked for what I wanted the way I wanted the lady put a lot of black pepper on my sandwich and I asked her to remove the veggies it was on because it was entirely toooo much . Then I asked for jalapeños she put 2 jalapeños on my six inch . I’ve worked here before that is not acceptable ! Then I get home with my sandwich and this bread is stale if I have to rip the bread with my teeth because it’s so rough that means it’s old . Like I said I’m pregnant this is wildly unreasonable and absolutely unacceptable I will not be coming back here ! Nobody has money to waste ! And especially not me this is...
