T. Jin's China Diner — Restaurant in Texas

This is a favorite spot for me and the family. Food is usually pretty good and the service is also solid.

However today we ordered fried rice and they instead served us brown rice with eggs.

I guess they ran out of fried rice and tried to pull a fast one on us. Very unexpected and not typical of this place. Not sure why the staff did that to us. We didn't say anything to our waiter as we didn't want to cause issues.

Also the fried egg rolls were strange. It was missing ingredients and overly stuffed with lettuce. It didn't taste great and we didn't eat the rest of it. The quality of our meals today was not great and not at all what we expected or have previously experienced here. They weren't busy or packed. Just 4 customers total including myself and parent.

I write this not to discourage people from visiting TJins Dinner because it is typically a great place to eat. I think they just had some young stuff in there today not making great decisions. We will visit again and I'm hoping by they get these...

I am no longer a satisfied customer...I have placed several large orders from this restaurant and each one was no less than $110 and no more than $250...tonight wasn't any different because I spent $120...I asked for my usual large container of sweet and sour sauce since my family loves it only to be told that I had to pay for 3 additional containers since I could only get one...really, I have to pay for enough sauce to eat food with when that 1 small container wasn't enough for the dozen egg rolls that I ordered, not to mention the 3 orders of combination rice and the 2 orders of chicken lo mein...I will start back going to my other Chinese restaurant especially since they appreciate my business and they give me all the sauce that I want along with a dozen fried biscuits when I place my large orders...

Fantastic food, fair pricing, large portions, and lightning fast delivery. This is not an exaggeration. We ordered Mongolian triple delight with fried rice (my third time ordering in a month), a chicken stir fry, egg rolls, crab Rangoon at 8:45pm. Delivery was completed at 9:00pm.

We live almost 10 minutes from the place! I was floored. Food was piping hot and the crab Rangoon was literally still sweating from the fryers.

Love it!

Update: our order was confirmed via qMenu app at 8:59pm. My guy was knocking on my door at 9:14pm. It takes 10 minutes to drive here from the restaurant. How you gonna be so fast with the delivery that the food is too...
