Only come here if you're going to the drive through, but even then prepare to wait and for your order to be wrong. This location is chronically understaffed and ill managed. If you're going to wait half an hour for a meal, you may as well go to an actual restaurant.
It had been over a year since I last visited this location, having given up after subsequent disappointments, but with Taco Bell revamping its vegetarian menu I was eager to give it another shot. I placed my order via the app, got text confirmation that it was received, and drove the 12 minutes there from work figuring it would be ready since the app said it would be done within 5 minutes. I arrived, went to the marked section of the counter for online pickups and waited. And waited... For over half an hour before my order of 4 items was finally prepared, and even then part of it was wrong and I again had to wait to have it corrected. I somehow received my food before a gentleman who had been standing in the building at least 15 minutes longer than me, and someone else got a hasty handful of coupons.
With barely 4 other guests in the lobby, the kitchen wasn't able to handle the limited orders being placed, yet the drive through line moved along with its 5-9 minute turnover time with no trouble. Occasionally the gentleman manning the drive through headset would wave the dine-in customers away from the register with disinterest or annoyance because people were asking for help and tell them to just use the electric kiosk instead. Despite there being 4 or 5 people handling the drive through line, only 1 person was trying to take care of the dine-in orders and no other employees helped her. One employee was just sitting around texting.
I get that Taco Bell isn't anyone's dream job, but we've all worked in service jobs before and learned how to fake some miniscule amount of enthusiasm or at least how to pick up the pace with lines of increasingly irritated people growing. In the 5ish years I've been coming here off and on, there's never been any improvement, or adequate oversight, or timeliness when it comes to the orders. 2 out of 3 times something will be wrong when you finally get the food. I had it several years ago that I placed an order online and went to pick it up, but they claimed it never came through their system. Okay, fine. Technology is weird and glitches happen. I showed them the email statement with my order so they could make it anyway. That time I had to wait over an hour to get maybe $15 worth of food for my dad and I, and that was only after asking the manager multiple times what the hold up was. And then they still messed up and either gave the meat version of a veggie alternative or just left it out altogether.
It's honestly just not worth it. I hate to give a low review of any place but this is just ridiculous. Save your money and save yourself the stress. Just go to Sonic or...
Read moreDrive-thru around 11PM on a Thursday night. Ordered three Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme, one Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito and one Beefy Melt Burrito. All for me. I was hongry. Drive-thru cashier sounded apathetic (or sleepy, or both), but got my order correct and followed SOP for a Taco Bell drive-thru cashier. I was surprised when the screen showed my order to be $20.41. Could've been adding the Steak GrChz Bur, the newer item I wanted to try instead of a proletarian bean n cheeze bur. This Thursday night was busy, with about 7-9 cars in front of me. It moved fairly quickly until the car directly in front of me. They must have ordered a secret menu item or something got misplaced, because I needed to put my car in park. The horruh, I know. When I finally pulled up to the window, I was pleased to see the cashier was indeed awake, but still appeared apathetic. The cashier may have deviated slightly from Taco Bell SOP because I received my bag of food, then waited until my card was processed and handed to me with the receipt. This may have been a first. As far as I can remember, the cashier always handed the card and receipt back first, then the bag of food followed. Does it matter? Not really. As for the food itelf, the tacos suffered from schweddy-hot beef softening, and each one fell apart instantly at the first bite. There was enough crunchiness here and there to satisfy my munchies, but there was way too much finger licking. That should be reserved for K*C. I managed to also eat the Steak GrChz Bur, as that was the wrapper I opened and there it was. I still can't tell one burrito wrapper from the next. But since it was all for me, it's all good. I wasn't able to eat the Beefy Melt Bur until the next day. Please, for the love of Pete, don't microwave it for more than 1:30 mins, or you'll end up with a sticky, gooey mess. It was still delicious, but you'll need a...
Read moreThis location uses and AI for the drive thru and I wanted to pick up my mobile order and my daughter who was driving was going to order through the drive thru. (Mobile order for deal)
To not confuse the AI through the drive thru by asking to pick up a mobile order and place one, I decided to select my pick up at the counter and once she got her food she would pull around and I would go in and get mine.
I placed my order and then we headed to the Taco Bell. After she ordered and we pulled around to the window, it started storming. Not raining, or sprinkling, storming! Like the very fast onset of dark clouds and thick rain with plants and trees blowing sideways.
When she paid for her order I asked the drive thru attendant if I could get my mobile order through the drive through because of the sudden onset of the storm. She seemed ok with it but another lady who maybe was the manager came to the window and said sorry no you can’t do that.
I showed her my order on My phone and said please I was going to go in and get it but you can see it just started storming. She smiled and said sorry sweetie you’re just gonna have to get out and get it from the counter.
I just can’t believe the lack of customer service and just being rude and mean for no reason. She saw it start storming and just wanted to be rude and make me get out in the rain.
I got soaked and so did my box of food. Then to top it off I go to eat the food and it’s gross. The taco tasted like a chemical or like it had been on a recently cleaned counter and the meat in the burrito was cold.
Horrible experience and very sad for me because I was so hungry and excited but got left hungry...
