This Game Stop is honestly the nicest location I've ever seen. Granted, I'm not a gamer, but my husband and my son are so I've visited several. It looks brand new! I don't know how long it's been there, but it's very well kept. Very clean and organized. Everything was nice and neat on the shelves. You can clearly look through all the merch in the store without having to dig around like other Game Stops I've been to.
Above all, amazing customer service! I am so glad we decided on coming to this location rather than the one closest to our own neighborhood. Some associates are so cold and listless.. they could care less about what you need and then don't even offer much help. This location was closest to our church, so it was convenient to head over after service.
It was a very special day for our son today too. He had been saving up his money from a few birthdays and Christmases and finally found something he wanted to spend it on. Luckily, he took the very last PokƩmon Violet game they had in stock! And as an added big bonus, he even found a Stark Trek game he wants even looking for! He's recently become quite the little Trekkie so he was very excited.
Alex at the register was the BEST. He took his time explaining all the benefits of the membership with us and was especially patient with me, the non gamer. He made sure I clearly understood what it entailed and he even offered tips on how to use it to get the most out of our membership! Super helpful! That really sealed the deal for us. He was really looking out for the consumer and you can tell he's really passionate about being of service and helping other fellow gamers get the best buying experience. We'll only be coming to this location from now on!
Such a wonderful feeling being listened to and educated. We're now really looking forward to using our membership like we didn't even know we could before!
See y'all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff will treat you like you're an idiot. Before wii came out, I went to the store and asked about the nintendo "why". The guy there told me it was "we" and then proceeded to spell it for me "double-ewe, eye, eye." What really ticks me off is that I don't see why he spelled it for me. You already told me how to say it, I obviously read the word on the internet. Like spelling it is gonna help me pronounce it correctly. It's not like the double-I dipthong appears in any word in the english language. To make it worse, the guy had a beard. Also, I think they're on drugs because their memory sucks. I was probably 13, and went there with some friends. One of them wanted to buy crackdown, and the guy wouldn't sell it to him because he was young and because he saw him walk in their with young friends so we couldn't buy it for him either. When I tell the guy that he already sold me a copy(my mum bought it for me), I asked if he remembered me, and he answers me by boasting about gamestop's popularity, "We serve over 100 customers a day." That's not what I asked, idiot. He could've admitted that his memory isn't that good,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBad experience but sometimes bad experiences are the way they deal with customers. I was told one thing for my game that I pre-ordered, I called to be sure that they could try something. I drive to get my situation fixed but once i get there, they tell me there's nothing they can do. I drove all the way down there after telling me over the phone that they can help me. Not to mention during the call that an employee told me, "well sir, it's an open beta in 2 days..." like... I paid extra to get the 2-day early access for the beta.. otherwise I would've just bought the standard edition. That really irritated me. In the end, they told me something else but to sum up the entire conversation, "You can't get a beta code for your game, even though it says in our website that you get 2-day early access before the open beta, we can't help you about that." The way they deal with things is they tease you and then don't help whatsoever. No wonder they were on the verge of closing down. Unsatisfied with ther customer service and I know they could've done something to help me. Tragic, shame,...
