TACOS YOYA — Restaurant in Texas

Went in today to try something different and instead of going to our regular spots we decided to try this place since I am following Yoyas on Facebook. I like to give small businesses a try and I was hoping for a good meal but I was very disappointed. We wanted some menudo because the weather was a bit cool today but the menudo was not good, it was lacking in tons of flavor honestly it tasted like water menudo and hominy. The sinchronizada was a bit more flavorful but was still hoping for birria tacos but they had none. My kid needed to use the bathroom and it was dirty and as I went to pay I noticed the floors were dirty and counters were dirty to. I can't say I would go back again but my advice is to not sell food on your menu if you know they are not that great in taste it can only hurt your business...

I had been reading about this place on social media, so I decided to give it a try. This is a small restaurant but the quality of the food and the service is great. Upon our arrival, we were created by a young lady who quickly took our order and later brought us our drinks. We decided to try the beef ponchos, the tacos de bistec, and the lonchesitos. The portion of the beef nachos was enough for 2pp. The tacos were served with cilantro & grilled onions on the side. And the lonchesitos came with a side of homemade French fries. We also were provided with chips & salsa and a cup of charro beans. The charro beans were soooo good my son ate two cups. I also ordered their enchilada chicken bowl to go. I ordered a birria plate and a sincronizada combo the sincronizada was good it could've been accompanied with some lime and a little more meat but overall enjoyable. The birria was not as good as it was made out to be. the tortillas tasted like it was just a soggy tostada and the meat was ok the consume was delicious. The papa that came with it came with a pound of cheese. Not as good as what was paid for. Hopefully this review reaches the eyes of the manager to adjust either...
