Coming from someone whoâs from the heart of Seoul, this place is NOT it. There was a younger woman who brought the food to us and basically threw it on the table and left. The snacks were good, but I will say theyâre more regular quick snacks you could even find in H-Mart if you really wanted. The tteokbokki made me extremely nauseous and sick for the rest of that day and two days after. I will say their bulgogi mandu was good and safe but the kimchi-buchimgae wasnât. We also ordered a kimchi egg fried rice which wasnât horrible but we couldnât finish. All around the food was a very hit or miss along with the âserverâ being extremely rude. The cooks were nice and said hello and goodbye from behind their walled off area but otherwise the service wasnât where you would hope. The place had some Korean elements to it but it was VERY Americanized and IT was very sad to see that since there arenât many actual Korean restaurants out in the Woodlands or Spring area. I personally most likely wonât be attended a second time unless it would be to make a pitstop for some of the snacks they offer or to enjoy one of the pre-packaged ramen noodle bowels or packages they offer as well. Try this place...
Read moreThe food came out quickly. The flavors were delicious (5-star)The pork belly was sliced up, so that was bite-size each order that we had of the bibimbap the Bulgogi and the pork belly was on its own separate bowl on a bed of rice. The bibimbap sauce came in a squirt bottle, which made it easy to be able to add more as you desired. The dishes came with a tiny man of kimchi. You could buy more kimchi, but wasnât something that we did.
The Entrance this location doesnât face the road so you have to enter in like youâre going towards the crawfish restaurant or next to the McDonaldâs
The parking lot can be a little bit tight as it shares it with the other retail stores and the McDonaldâs behind it and other restaurants/ shops on the other side.
The staff was friendly and smiling, although we did have an issue with the kiosk. The owner came out and was able to help us, and unfortunately, we had to go order from the person standing at the main terminal.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere as they had K-pop playing in the background and also the overall vibe felt like a Korean convenience store.
Would recommend and look forward...
Read moreWanted to give this place a shot tonight. Had never ordered any of the items we ate tonight anywhere, and we were happy to be blown away. We ordered the spicy pork belly and spicy fish cake rolls, and the bulgogi rice bowl. The star of the meal was the bulgogi (what seems to me Korean comfort food â I could eat this bowl every day), but I love spicy foods and the rolls hit the spot too. Overall, I loved the sleek look of the restaurant upon entering; the magazine rack with crayons and tons of Bluey coloring pages for my Bluey-obssessed kids earned points immediately; the staff was so courteous and friendly; and I loved the easy to use tablets/kiosks for ordering my food, conveniently complete with photos of what I could expect the food to look like. This place will be a go-to for our take out and dine in cravings. So happy to have it so...
