Toki — Restaurant in Texas

we got two 8 piece crunch rolls, ramen, the octopus rolls and one of their hot dogs. The portions were very small for the sushi. I posted a picture of the ENTIRE tray of 16 pieces!!!! They were about the size of my thumb. I’ve never seen sushi this small for the price of almost $8. It’s not even their specialty sushi. I was disappointed to say the least because I didn’t fill up when we shared the sushi. The ramen was good. And the hotdog was the best part. It was actually a good size. It was delicious. I rated based on how satisfied I was with the quality and portion of the food. I probably will not be ordering from here again. Not worth it for the price when there’s a of other places that give regular sized sushi rolls for the same price or a bit more which I’m ok with it’s going to fill me. Save your money and go to another sushi place!

Just got it again bc I was craving the hotdogs and I ordered the kids sushi to see the size difference between the adult one and the kids one. The kids one are nearly the same size. I'm laughing bc that's crazy. I will only purchase their hotdogs bc of how small...

I don't have much to contribute beyond a few delivery pictures, I suppose. Toki is another sushi place that just kind of exists. They have hot dogs, but at least the one I got (the Mito one) ain't that impressive. I'd rather get a hot dog from Costco.

To be fair, the sushi did give a good first impression, but said first impression faded quickly after a couple of bites because then you realize everything just kind of tastes the same and not that different from anywhere else. The smoked salmon has very strong liquid smoke flavor and is definitely bought and resold, methinks. The tempura is a bit too oily for me and the fried milk a little bland and overly gelatinous.

I guess at the end of the day, everything just tasted too store-bought for me, like one would go into a nice Asian supermarket and just prepare all the food one gets from there. It's not bad,...

Such a little gem!! The waitress was just wonderful, very accommodating and hospitable. The ramen was (in our opinion) better than the Jinya chain restaurants. All food items came out pretty quick and it was all so fresh tasting.

Tried an assortment of things, unfortunately didn't get pictures of everything we tried. Started with cheese sticks & edamame. Followed by, spicy black garlic tonkotsu & chicken ramen, sushi. We ended with; green tea mochi ice cream!

Chef stated they make everything in house st the restaurant. They have a good drink menu (alcohol wasn't avaliable when we went but that wasn't a deter)

Our only recommendation.. please get on board with social media! Would love to tag food items on platforms or check ins! It's too good...
