Had an overall pleasant experience for an affordable price.
Walking in, the decor is tasteful although it doesn’t stand out from other restaurants. The tables and floors were clean, there were quite a few customers for a Thursday night, and I liked the illuminated clouds. There was radio music playing in the background, the genres were hiphop and r&b.
We were seated and given our menus pretty quickly. Our server, Fanny was very friendly and attentive and did an excellent job. We started off with an order of imperial fries, which arrived shortly.
The fries themselves were a 5/10. They were soft al throughout, while I prefer a crispy exterior and soft interior. The toppings were nice yet lacked too much flavor, and I was disappointed in the beef as it was too thin for me to notice when I had any. We order the soup of the day and spicy Korean beef. The soups of the day were chicken corn soup and hot&sour, and we got the former.
I personally enjoyed chicken corn soup deeply, and would give it an 9/10, while my wife is more critical of soups and gave it 7/10. There was plenty of flavor without needing any additional help like soy sauce, hot sauce, or vinegar. Although the soup was tasty, there wasn’t a strong impact of flavor as soon as we tasted the soup which is why it’s really good yet not a perfect 10/10.
The spicy Korean beef, on the other hand, is a 7/10. I had the plate with steamed rice, and they definitely complement each other well. The beef was very high on salt, which I assumed was because the rice had no salt and we were meant to eat them together. The beef wasn’t particularly spicy either. It tasted better than other beef plate I would normally have in a Chinese restaurant, but it didn’t blow my expectations.
Overall, I had a pleasant time and would definitely recommend anyone reading to visit, especially if they’re looking for halal food. I definitely see myself being a regular, especially considering how convenient the location is.
1/10: horrible 2/10: bad 3/10: below average 4/10: slightly below average 5/10: average 6/10: slightly above average 7/10: above average 8/10: good 9/10: really...

The moment the bowl of Bun Bo Hue was placed in front of me, I knew I was in for a treat. The aromatic broth, rich in flavor and depth, immediately awakened my senses. It was clear that this dish was crafted with utmost care and attention to detail.
The tender and succulent slices of beef, the melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, and the perfectly cooked rice noodles all came together harmoniously to create a symphony of flavors. The addition of fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime added a refreshing and vibrant element to the dish.
What truly sets Imperial Pho's Bun Bo Hue apart is the balance of flavors. Read moreWent with some friends on a Thursday night. Only one person was working the entire front of house. There were about 6-7 tables waiting for food or other stuff. It took about 10 min for our order to be taken after finally getting the workers attention. It took 25 min for them to bring us water(while we were fasting) after asking a total of 3 times.
We ordered the imperial fries for an appetizer which was pretty good as well as the wings which were way too salty, I’m pretty sure they were pre made wings from restaurant depot that were seasoned again. For entrees we tried the steak spot ribeyes with mashed potatoes, corn, and fried rice. The sides were good but the steaks were pretty bad. They were cooked from frozen so the center was raw and the actual parts that were cooked came out grey and watery. We asked for medium, medium well and the steak came rare in the center and was just bland. Steak Spot’s truck should be aware of how badly imperial pho is butchering their steaks. We also tried the pho and that was the only bright spot of the experience other than the fries. If you come here, I would only get the pho.
The last and best part of the experience, I went to the restroom and a chef was there as well. I was washing my hands and noticed that the chef used the restroom and did not wash his hands and just walked out. I walked out and saw him just walk into the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting behavior by a person handling the food.
Dirty chefs, bad service, and bad food to summarize. I would not come again. Don’t get fooled by the...
