Too Good Papi Taqueria — Restaurant in Texas

When I am in the area I go to the gas station the food truck is located at and i always see a long line for this place, so i decided to give it a try. And needless to say I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, for many reasons. The food is commercial grade and not homemade as you would expect, especially from, a Mexican food truck. I had ordered a torta, birria ramen, crispy fries, quesadilla, and strawberry horchata. As pictured on the food truck, the quesadilla had lettuce and tomatoes in it, so that’s what I was expecting my quesadilla to be. Well I was WRONG, it came on a soggy tortilla and greasy meat. The torta was nothing special and the main component was mostly bread. The fries soggy (and gross) when i specifically asked for crispy fries. I DID NOT RECEIVE my strawberry horchata. I had called when i got home and realized i didn’t have it in my hand (also partially my fault for not realizing) and the lady who I spoke with was RUDE and couldn’t care. I asked for a refund of the horchata as I live an hour away and couldn’t pick it up and she refused to accommodate me in any way. OVER PRICED, NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!! GO TO LOS CUCOS ACROSS...

Update: about 4 years later of ordering from this truck I have to say the quality consistency is not great. I again ordered $30 worth of food only for it to go in the trash. Barbacoa quesadilla was filled with birria instead of barbacoa. The barbacoa burrito did have barbacoa but was smothered in guac tomatoes and some weird sauce. Literally tasted like a chipotle burrito. So now I’m at $60 that I have literally thrown away. I’m still going to eat from here bc most of the food is normally good, I just hope they get their stuff together as I don’t like throwing away money like that.

Ordered a torta with chicken meat that was watery and made the bread all soggy, 2 orders of hard, burnt Quesabirria tacos that had little meat and the birria sauce had no flavor, the 2 gorditas of chorizo were greasy and had the tortilla falling apart. I did not receive the charro beans that have always come with previous orders. Aside from that, I did not receive a receipt so I checked my bank transactions and I was charged $6 more than what they said was my total. I asked why and they said it was a fee for using my card when I was never aware of the fee for using a card when I could have paid in cash. The sign that states there is a fee is way on the other side of the truck. Never have I ever been charged a fee without the merchant stating there is a fee beforehand and with a visible notice and it has never been an extra $6.00!!! I ordered here last year and was never charged a card fee. The people inside at the time said they're not the same people as the previous when I ordered. Zero stars if I could and will not...
