U’’Maki Sushi Burrito is a Perfect Fusion of Sushi and Burrito!
I recently had the chance to try their sushi burrito under new management, and it was a delightful experience! I heard the owner said he import fresh fish from Japan. The combination of fresh sushi ingredients and the convenience of a handheld burrito format was both innovative and satisfying.
The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced. The sushi rice was perfect, the fish tasted fresh, and the variety of toppings added a wonderful crunch and complexity. I especially loved their fatboy sushi burrito.
The portion size was generous, making it an excellent value for the price. It’s a perfect option for those who love sushi but want something more filling and portable.
The presentation was beautiful, the burrito was neatly wrapped, and every bite was consistent in flavor.
I’m big on milk tea, the new management owner recommended their freshly brewed milk tea. I was instantly in love with it, not crazy sweet and heavier on the tea taste. Just the way how milk tea supposed to be.
Overall, the sushi burrito is a fun twist on traditional sushi, and I highly recommend it for sushi lovers looking for something new...
Read moreThis location is so so, I came here this evening as I was the only one home and it was pointless to cook at 830 pm for only one person. I decided upon this restaurant as it seemed to have a healthier fare than some of the surrounding restaurants. I ordered my food online. I purchased the sushi bowl with the tofu and salmon. It was okay. Obviously the fish is raw, and it was decent however the tofu was an unpleasant texture which was disappointing. In addition I was missing toppings. The bowl overall was okay, I would rather just order sushi products elsewhere though. I am fond of Fujijapan, even rainbow sushi is decent if you are trying to be cost effective. I ordered online and came in to pick it up, it was clean from what I saw but I stood there for 15 minutes to receive my order that was ready 5 minutes prior. This would not bother me except I have raw fish sitting on hot rice, for nearly half an hour. This being said the service was not great. They do not greet you, not even upon arrival. They are not really friendly either. I may return as it is not even .2 miles from my home but only if I am looking for an odd cuisine that is not served at...
Read moreFirst time here and don’t know if I will be back.
Sister & I came in and when placing our order an employee (female) was very short with her and ignored some questions about the menu. When it was my turn to order I stated I needed a minute (our first time here). She then asked me again after a few seconds and when I said I needed time she walked away with a huff & didn’t come back until we sat down, another young teen employee helped us out. He was sweet and did his best answering our questions. The tuna & avocado looked old and a different color. The salmon looked freshly prepped so got that. The cooler where all the toppings were displayed look dirty, and the tables had crumbs and sticky. Was very nervous to get anything that would get me sick.
The female employee returned after we paid and proceeded to sit on a table having a loud personal conversation with someone on her phone and then started playing videos on her phone. It seemed like the owner/ manager was there briefly in the back putting inventory away.
I love poke bowls & trying new restaurants but it’s the little details that make a difference.
Spend about $40 for two...
