The pozole here is the bomb!! I’ve been coming to the restaurant since 2015 and now we go 1-2 a month not like before since like everywhere the prices have increased. Last year I would go with my kids to eat here and I would pay less than $50 this year $65 or more. Ohhhh and their miches are very good i always have me one or two when there even with a tipo chico. We will still continue to come here for pozole 😄😋

Update: today we decide to go out the norm and the food we got was disguising!!! The meat was hard and chewy, then enchilada on the mar y Tierra plate 🤮 now we know that this place is only good with their pozole. I made sure the lady who is the cashier there for many years that we didn’t have a good experience since she did take her time to ask. Miche was still good. (Ohhh my kids had camarones empanizados and they were salty. A gordita that did not look like a gordita...

Just ate at Viva Jalisco on Veterans Memorial for the second and last time. Flies were over bearing, found a long hair in my meal after eating half of it (GROSS). The waitresses tried to explain the flies by saying it is because the front door opens/closes. I haven't seen such a thing in other restaurants with doors! Other answer could be maggots in the kitchen creating more flies. Waitresses seem a bit distant and are very short on smile/friendliness. When I went to pay no mention of a courtesy meal or discount. When I asked to speak to the manager he told them to tell me he was busy (there were only 8 customers in the restaurant), bad customer service move. All in all one of the worst eating experiences of my 58 years! I was hoping for much more as it is close to...

I love coming to this place, we visit this place once a week but today I had a bad experience. They overcharged us, when I asked the cashier what she charged me for? she said the prices are higher and the tip was included. She never did a breakdown of the receipt. I still had it in my head, on my way home I called the restaurant and ask for a clarification, she charged me for a plate of enchiladas that we didn’t ordered and I don’t know what else. She apologized and told me if you want to come back I’ll give you $13 back (which the overcharge was around $30). I told her you should’ve done the brake down when I asked you in person keep the money and I will never go back and she said ok, very...

I usually don't write reviews but this is literally unseasoned Mexican food save your money! I'm not Mexican but Ive had many delicious authentic dishes and this was sooooo disappointing. The food looked nothing like the menu and the tres leches was dry and looked like a regular piece of cake for $4!! I've had amazing mouth watering tortas BUT THIS ONE was definitely far far from mouth watering. My flautas had no texture it literally was soggy. Omg never again. If you like unseasoned food this place is for you.

The charro beans alone are worth the trip. They put nice size chuncks of sausage in them as well. Add a pinch of salt and these and the best thing on the menu. We got the fajita plate. The flour tortillas are store bought but not horrible and they give you plenty. The meat is flavorful and they give you more than enough for the money. The waitress kinda forgot about us after taking our order but the other staff came around so the service is pretty good.
